Taper legs are a nice design element for tables. Turning 4 legs exactly alike can be challenging. I use “landmarks” to make it easier and more accurate.
I assumed this was a video on how to do a simple taper and duplicate such taper on multiple pieces. Do you have a video on how to do this, or did I not catch it in the video?
@@LSatch Thanks. I wonder if there is such a thing, I actually search every couple of years lol, and find nothing on how to do an simple taper, then duplicate that taper several or more times. I'll do another search in '26 lol...
@@bikersoncall by ‘26 I may have one. With some practice you can do it. If you are trying to match one you already have, take the largest measurement and the smallest measurement for the starting point. Depending on how long it is take a few in-between. Use a roughing gouge down to those marks.
@@LSatch Thanks. Way to much fiddly work for my taste, I'll have to come up with something else. RU-vid is recommending 'duplicators' now and they're similar to this. I just want a very simple taper, I think I have it fingered' out 80% conceptually, should be pretty simple once I start building it. But these little rocket ship contraptions that I'm seeing, don't jump out at me lol.
