Probably not, while I agree that the GOC would put up a hell of a fight, they have next to no anomalies of their own, and are fighting a battle they weren't ready for, in which most major world leaders were killed in the first hours.

Well nothing but actually a lot, so basically SCP-5000 is a suit called "Absolute Exclusion Harness" one day it suddenly apeared in scp 579 containment chamber with agent Pietro Wilson's body inside it, the only problem was that agent Pietro Wilson was still alive, turns out that both the suit and the body came from a different universe, in that universe the Exclusion Harness has a lot of abilities but not in our world, in our world it's only purpose was containing data from another world in which it has much more abilites, for example, people wearing it don't have to drink water or eat food (but their brains don't know it so they feel thirst and hunger), also people wearing it are invisible, well actually people that see them don't realise that they can see them which is pretty much invisibility, and all of that shit that's happening is the foundation trying to destroy the world

Look up LTE-0851-Cetus in War on All Fronts series in SCP Wikidot. The GOC demolished Godzilla but resulted in a destruction of a mythical island, Hy-Brasil.

But I would think of it as this way It might've been that some MTF divisions are able to infiltrate military bases as well to weaken government forces to act right after the first attacks and yes, they might've infiltrated the russians as well secretly. And they probably have got everything ready before they announce it to the world. The thing is, with all the anomalies spread across the globe and wreaking havoc, in which the global population have no idea whatsoever of what they are except for GOI's and supposedly World Leaders. The main focus would be the civilian population and how will they be able to contain these anomalies first because it was so sudden And as pietro goes through his journey the foundation continues to send and send more, technically speaking that they might not be able to mobilize quickly enough, why? This is not only about the GOC btw: Evacuation of Civilians Attempts of Containment How will they avoid anarchy Attempts to maintain Order You can't technically just nuke the facilities all out, because majority of foundation facilities are within the United States. If they did nuke it, they don't know what more damage it will cause in the future. I understand how powerful the U.S military and the UNGOC is but it's not really that sending nukes is that easy Moving on from the nuke parts, about the foundation being wiped out before it could deploy any anomalies. Again, they could've got everything ready before announcing it to the world and take them by surprise Even if the G.O.C are able to mobilize, there are still such things as how would they be able to counter their attacks, They still have MTF divisions. And even if the GOC are able to mobilize enough, who knows how long that will take, and probably the foundation have sent much worse stuff before they could attack successfully And if you might think about the global military, they're deployed to maintain order and keep the peace as much as they can to the civilians. Let's not forget the damages they've caused beforehand, leading to supply shortages as well as Economy Crashing, Shortages of Drinkable Water, Oil, Food. Halted or Slowed Operations on Mines, Factories and such Logistics would be quite hard I do understand about the part of 169 where they detonate nukes on it's back (underwater ofc with submarines) and it tilted to the side causing tsunamis. That still would've weaken the world But I understand your part, yes it is a bit contradicting from me saying sending nukes isn't that easy from the 169 part but that's not the nukes send by The U.S or Russia, or any other country that posseses nukes and again, how will the nukes effect the civilian population if they did nuke all those facilities at once? But let's not forget that the scp wiki has no canon, and authors have creative freedom pretty much can create their own logic in their own universe if I remember correctly. @@DaveAdriano4943 I dunno, weakening every military globally with MTF is one hell of a task to then afterwards still have free operatives for assaults. The MTF are a massive branch but at the same time, considering the foundation by all fan accounts usually deploys anywhere from 3 operatives to a single fireteam to recontain a site even in the deadliest containment breaches. I don't really think the foundation has that many MTF operatives. Now, obviously let's assume they somehow can do both, a few MTF divisions in sheer numbers would be dwarfed by every GOI and the millions of world military personnel, hell NATO alone has 3.5 million, going against an army of some, 80,000 at best. Now of course world militaries would be extremely limited in their abillity to preform actions since they have had decapitation strikes by the butler and so forth. But at the same time they could still fight, not to mention there's 100% historical examples of militaries organizing extremely fast and patchwork ad-hoc units of multiple different division's personnel. Not to mention the UNGOC probably had some way to prevent these decapitation strikes as an anomalous org. Meaning the world militaries now have semi-leadership with the UNGOC, so if they can get any organization at all..... Yeah. On nukes, yeah fair tbh. I get the fact they wouldn't want to nuke their own cities, I think if it got to a point they would though, especially for example if like, the US president and VP were both killed, let alone multiple major cities already having 610 infections and chaos, might already be viewed as the end of the world.
