This game was made in 7 days for Barji's winter barjam 2021 using Unity. It was a solo indie dev project and is available on itch.io to play for free. The thumbnail for the video features a 3d model that was made in blender.

🧠 I did have the idea to make it multiplayer where one person was a snitch trying to catch and tattle on the other players. And the other players try to destroy everything before they’re all caught.

I participated in Brackeys-jam 2022.1 this year, and while we didn't win - We made so much progress in terms of our development journey. We learnt a lot about what actually goes in to finish a game, and I wouldn't trade it for the world. We had fun and we grew as developers, and honestly our game was pretty ok, not good, but okay. Great video :P

Neat video! It definitely seems key to keep aligned with the rules but go for something unique and eye catching. That's usually where I fail at jams.

Very entertaining video! From personal experience, coming up with an idea that is both in-theme, original, achievable, and fun is often the most challenging part! Since iteration can be a big part of "finding the fun" of the game, if you start off with the wrong idea, your chances of success narrow.

If you want to learn unity, you can check Brackeys. And my suggestion would be recreating existing games. Brackeys has a livestream playlist for that.

I did a little research, and it seems the only game jam you won is this one. In fact, it's the only one you participated in by the time video came out. Well, you really did in fact win every jam you entered, but I wouldn't call it a pile of trophies.

It's not about winning. It's about finnaly finishing a game instead of taking a break and trying to make a new game like whatever AAA Game I just played and then giving up a week later because you realize how impossible that is but then it happens again and again and again...
