In my opinion, Oil resource curse is nothing but a western narrative. Most of the regions where oil was discovered, for eg: Middle East, South America, etc., either had low literacy rates or had a weak democracy. US sensed this and got involved in local politics by either orchestrating coups or my forging elections to install a more favorable head of state, thus making these regions highly politically unstable. Whereas Norway was one of the early member of NATO, thus preventing US from interfering in local politics and in way survived US political interference and instability. Been left alone to grow and flourish is one of the underrated cause of its success. Thanks.

Norway is developed all because of its social democratic policies and I think each and every nation of this world should appreciated and should be inspired from it, because probably it is one of the few countries in this world which has brought development coexisting it with democracy (unlike China, Singapore and UAE etc)

Hey! I've been watching your videos for sometime now and like your work and thus pointing this out as it felt a little weird. A few months before PolyMatter also made a similar video and your video's flow is very similar to that one, starting from the democracy index to Dutch disease and so on . I understand that the facts remain same, so if the pension fund was made to utilise oil money properly, anyone making a video on Norway will show this. However, even the flow and things other than facts were kinda same at some points. Even the video clip usage at one point but that is understandable as it could be stock video or bought from internet. All I'm saying is that I appreciate your work and granted that this video is for Hindi listeners. But, I think before one makes a video, you see whether there is a similar video and considering what space you're in, you should most probably be aware of PolyMatter. So, if you saw the video and took inspiration, this attempt was kinda 'too inspired' (ifykwim). And if you didn't watch that video, it doesn't hurt to see whether there a similar video and then you can change some of your flow to differentiate yourself to avoid all this confusion. Again keep up your good work 😁
