I literally got lightheaded and felt pain while listening to their stories wtf

I was in kindergarten and some cheeky sociopath stabbed me in my left hand with a pencil for literally no reason at all. I remember the initial panic of there being a huge pencil lodged in my palm a whole lot more than the actual pain, but I'd say it felt like wasps were repeatedly stinging me and their stingers were a couple hundred degrees. It's kind of fuzzy because this happened at least 14-15 years ago, but I remember that I shortly passed out from the pain and panic. I had a huge and painful gray bump on my hand for several months, maybe even a year or more, again details are kind of fuzzy at this point. As for my hand, fortunately I didn't suffer too much permanent damage and I don't have any scar tissue that I can notice, but I'm noticeably stronger in my right hand than my left. It also kind of sucks because I used to be ambidextrous but I adapted into a righty because I couldn't use my left hand for so long. So I guess in all it was the shock of getting stabbed that got me a lot more than the actual physical pain, and even today the whole memory just feels kind of surreal. I'm not a violent man, but if I ever meet that cheeky little piece of crap who stabbed me again I'd like to slap him across the face with my left hand for a little extra insult to injury.

I feel like my body is playing tricks with me- My side of the body hurts and I keep touching it like I got stab even though it says a stab is painless. I still can’t believe a stab is unnoticeable and a shot is just a burning sensation.

An axe hit my foot once, it was in the summer so I was wearing flip flops. My brothers were taking turns chopping this random plastic dog house. The axe slipped, hit my foot and I started running away. Apparently my brother was the only one that realized I was bleeding bc he scooped me up and ran so fvcking fast to the house.(we were in the backyard btw) i saw my foot while he was running and then started balling my eyes out even more. We got into the house and told my grandma, and she took me to the bathtub and started running water over the wound. That felt nice bc it was cold. Then she told me a story about how she got stabbed in the shoulder in high school. After that, she let my foot sit in the cold water while she called my mom. (She was at work) lucky for me, my mom used to be a registered nurse, so we didnt have to rush to the doctors. And bc I'm a pussy, I only got butterfly stitches. And I had to go to school. It was about an inch deep and took almost 2 months to heal completely. You can tell that it was deep bc the scar is literally a dent in my foot. Thanks for reading, byyyeee👋

I was stabbed in the abdominal veina cava, the spleen, and the upper part of my turdsock(large intestine) as well as my diaphram. The stab wound hurt, but not so bad... I chased the assaulter out of the house! But I only went three steps more, and collapsed in a pool of blood. My neighbor at the time saved my life, calling the paramedics. I lost one litre of blood externally and five internally. I was dead, but didn't know it. I held on for four hours until the surgeons stitched me back up. Moral: bring a gun to a knife fight, or die screaming. Your choice...

Whenever I was like 9, me and my brother were playing a game. In which he had a toy bow and arrow, when we started to play, the game got a little more rough. He looked at me, broke the bow in half, charged, and stabbed me in the face. I didnt feel anything at first, and was more upset my him breaking the toy. I then looked over at him, and he was ghost white, I said "what wrong with you?" He said I was bleeding ( as that's what he understood bc he was 6) he had torn a jagged gash from the middle to the top of my bottom lip. I was in the emergency room for and hour before I was seen, i only felt the pain when he was stitching the wound up, and the doctor had said the whole was the size of a quarter.

I broke my arm once and didn’t feel it at all either, the adrenaline rush instantly kicks in and make it painless. It’s a survival thing to allow animals to get away instead of being being on the floor in agony

I’m my opinion slashing hurts more and that’s why it’s a lot more common because it immediately hurts until you start bleeding on it.

Been stabbed in my leg, my forearm, and neck. All left side. My forearm one was the worst. It severed the radial nerve completely. It's about the size of a pencil. To this day I still can't move my wrist downwards in a clenched fist position.

I was stabbed in the thigh by a guy who snuck up on me. Never felt the actual blade enter my body. Just collapsed immediately after because he not only punctured my skin but he cut my muscle too. So I couldn’t walk. It’s the recovery that was a nightmare. I couldn’t sleep flat because I could have ripped the stitches. And the giant bump around the wound. Shitty experienced.

I'm Polynesian and in our culture we cook pigs on that rod thing where you spin it over a fire. The pointy part of the rod struck me on the head (around the hairline) I was still standing when blood pissed out my head. But, on the contrary to how dangerous the blow was I'd rate the pain a 5 or 6

my friend was mixing in the wrong crowd and i tried time after time to try to get him away. None of them worked, and he was starting to spend less and less time with me. My dad is a solicitor and has some money on him. After my birthday, i was going into town with some friends to spend my birthday money. My 'friend' saw me and alongside with 5 others, they ran at us with knives and mugged me to the point i had nothing in my pockets and was empty-handed. I didnt know, but 1 of them slashed me(not stabbed) in my chest and it didnt hurt at the time. Later on, my friends saw blood drench my shirt and i felt woozy and dizzy. immediately, i was sent to an ambulance and my 'friend' who mugged me went to jail for a couple years. i dont know what happened to the others

When it comes to gunshots my mom says it's spot on. She was hit in the crossfire of a hit and run. She said at first it felt like she got punched and didn't feel anything but then a few seconds later there was an excruciating burning sensation with immense pain

I didn't even realize I was stabbed until probably 5 or 10 minutes later. Initially it just felt like a punch in the back. I only realized I was stabbed when I noticed my ass and crotch felt wet. The blood is body temperature so you don't really feel it running down your back. After about 5 minutes I started feeling small stabbing pains (no pun intended). By the time the ambulance arrived (about an hour before police cleared our home and allowed paramedics in) I could barely walk from pain.

In middle school i got slashed in the head, yes, thats right. I went to the bathroom during class and got jumped by an infamous school delinquent group, there were 4 of them. They knew i had 50$ on me, so they started attacking me. I had a good defense streak, so one pulled out a knife and slashed me above my eye. It didn't hurt, so I thought the knife missed. The guy who stabbed me ran away, and I went back into class. Once i came in, i could hear a girl scream bloody murder, I couldn't stand any more and collapsed, seconds later my entire face is drenched in blood. My teacher cleaned my face with gauze and alcohol, which burned like hell, and only lead to me passing out. I wake up in the hospital, with my mom crying. The doctor said if the knife cut any deeper, I would've lost an eye, and if it actually stabbed me, I would have died. The delinquent group was expelled from school, and their parents went to prison. I was only 12 at the time, they were 14.

I got stabbed in the chest (had minor lung injury) by a mugger. I didn't realise it at first, i tried to evade a punch(i thought), tripped and fell. The guy kicked me 3 times to my side and head and started running. I was ready to stand up and chase the guy until someone that came to aid me told me i was bleeding like a fucking fountain from my chest. Yeah, 3rd year of high school started great.

As someone who’s been stabbed in the lower side of my stomach I can tell you it feels like a sudden sharp pain like hell and then it goes numb almost instantly, then I felt a almost warm and tingling feeling and after a while of blood loss your body goes cold and you feel vulnerable and numb except a throbbing pain where the stab was. It’s terrify and hope nobody goes threw it, especially over here in England where knife crime is a real thing, U.K. government really got to get a hold of all these gang members and “road men”.

Been stabbed multiple times and been shot once in my leg. You tend to go into shock when these things happen, hence why most people say, 'it's painless' when you get stabbed or shot. If I remember correctly, it's just some sort of psychological response the body responds with to traumatic events that causes you to not just curl up or double over in pain. My experience with being stabbed was that I immediately felt a cold sensation wash over my body, like someone had just dumped a bucket of ice water over my head or that I just jumped head first into a cold pool. Sometimes, you can't help but gasp out in shock or surprise. That's when the 'fight or flight' sense kicks in. I grew up in a bad place in my teen years, and had gotten into a lot of fights for being a white guy in the ghetto. You most likely will go berserk and try to knock out the person that stabbed you if you can, and then you start to run away. Sometimes, it's an unconscious thing, and you run away because you don't want to be left near where you had been attacked or something. If the object you'd been stabbed with is still in you, you don't remove it. It will increase the amount of blood you lose if you remove the foreign object stuck in your body. A few times, I had ended up in a hospital. A couple of times, I had to get stitched up by a friend that knew how to handle this shit because he had to learn to do it on himself. When I was shot, it glanced off the outside of my thigh. All it really did was tear the skin and a bit of meat off of the outside of my thigh. I didn't feel anything at first, since I immediately went into shock, but I could feel that my leg was incredibly weak, and that I couldn't put pressure on that leg. I looked down at the leg, and saw that I had a decent sized hole blown out the side of it. Then the burning starts. The burning is from the residue of the gunpowder from the round going off, and it's fucking torturous after a few minutes. The tourniquet was even worse, easily the worst pain that I had ever felt in my entire life. Your nerves are starting to get inflamed at this point, and them squeezing the nerves amplifies the pain that you're feeling tenfold. Then you start going into hypovolemic shock, with times depending on how many times/how bad or how deep the stab/cut is. If they hit an organ, you could be pissing a lot of blood and be knocked out in a matter of minutes. If it's one good cut, but it didn't hit anything significant, or the cuts are more superfluous but numerous, you could stay conscious for closer to thirty minutes, and after two to five minutes, you'll start feeling that pain. None of it's pleasant, but I'm just glad I'm no longer living in that town anymore.

Not stabbed in the traditional sense but my dog bit me and gave me a pretty big cut due to his tooth being broken and sharp. I felt it go in, I pulled back and it cut about 3 inches, no pain for a few minutes but I felt blood pumping and wetness. Both me and the dog made up and are ok btw

I have stabbed before, I was getting mugged, and the guy was hiding a knife. That is why I always get annoyed at movies when they show someone getting stabbed and they cry out in so much pain. Im like, if you didn't see the knife you wouldn't even really tell what happened. I didn't pass out thank god, and I knew there was a hospital close by, so I just slowly walked there, I took off my shirt and used it as a rag while I kept pressure and walked about a mile or so to the hospital. I can say, after the adrenalin wears off, and you kind of realize what happened, then the pain will slowly start, and after about a day passes, you will be hurting ALOT.

Well, I have a 1.5 inch scar on my thumb, below the thumb nuckle. I got it at my brother's birthday, when some adults asked me to clean up after dinner. So I decided to take all the 10 heavy ceramic plates and stack them. They were so heavy that I lost them immediately and they shattered allover the floor. I just stood there and though "well mistakes happens". Then when I got eyecontact with my uncle. He stared at me and said " Fuck, does it hurt" and then he stared at my hand. I said "what is it" I looked down and saw a small pool of blood on the floor. It didn't hurt at all, even after realizing it.
