I just love how the incredibly disciplined, heavily trained characters with super powers given to them by the Gods themselves can't stand a 10 second sprint
only in gameplay though... in cutscenes they can do absurd things like jump over buildings/walls... its only in gameplay cus they have to manage puzzles that your character is the most unfit human alive... even i could run longer....
I remember suggesting this at r/GenshinImpact on the first year of the game and I was downvoted to oblivion because it would OBVIOUSLY break the game to be able to run and climb while exploring without having to stop every 5 seconds to recover your stamina
Yes because WuWa is a faster game… It got faster climbing and combat. Thats why Genshin feels slow, because its a slower game with slower climbing and slower combat.
I love how on wuwa, you encounter a trash mob and they're actually worth killing while on genshin you encounter a hilicurl or some fatui or bandits, you dont wanna fight them, just fight domains or bosses
« Rewarding » players for killing mob is a real good deal, and the fact all mobs from same cost got the same stat as equals rarity make it simplier to get (because changeable at will and doesn’t limit too much per day for a specific mob) and i think it’s overlooked… sure you have to spend ressource to see substats, but main stats can be farm freely without spending a single stamina
yup we have skip button and skip every dumb npc dialog we want, then i go back to genshin trying to skip daily quest npc dialog it felt annoying af my hand hurt from clicking the dialog 💀
Bro! Why is this so real! My brain is too used wuwa i started timing dodge every enemy i faced and still took damage that 2 second time i forgot i was playing Genshin. 😭🤣
@@NadHijinksyeah I tried DMC and you have to put in many hours to be able to do the flashy combo stuff. WuWa is easy peasy compared to DMC so far at least.
@@elcxz-did you play today? They pushed on update that is supposed to alleviate the crashing. I’m on PC so I don’t know if mobile is actually stable or not.
Yea my mobile had overheating, battery drain and occasional lag even at the lowest settings. But I can play genshin at good settings for like hours with mimimum battery consumption. Battery drains 3 times faster in WuWa than in genshin.
..... Exactly what I felt, and what I've been badgered the devs for months 😑 If they won't hear us on rewards or at least optimizing stuff. We should get this at the very least cause exploration is still genshin's core as an open world of exploration game
Do you guys even think? This is extremely arm chair development. Please explain to me with less than 1000 words how you would TOTALLY revamp the movement and climbing system in Gemshin after 3-4 years since the game released. Are you even thinking about how much stuff they designed around the system they have now? Like I don’t know either, but I can guarantee you that this is NO easy task and would cost them millions. I think the climbing is fine. Its not like I go back to playing BotW after WuWa and suddenly I want Link to be able to parkour up the mountain.
@@Softlol good point you got there. But it's also dev restriction placed on players. Even characters with abilities to travel faster are restricted by skills, time out , what ever. I think it's not that hard to put a high speed zone where you can generate wind currents or simply provide boost in speed. That sure is not harder than revamping the entire stamina . In beginning we didn't actually needed such thing , now the restriction to support open world has become an disadvantage. However, the reason as to why genshin limits things is probably because " once you explore, there really isn't any benefit to come back and traverse AGAIN " Also, I think they took a different approach, instead of revamping stamina , they included the Whale in new area which acts as fast travel.
@@Softlol one thing that would make exploration better is making running outside of combat use no stamina just like in wuwa. It will not cost them million, in fact it will actually make the game better.
@@dragnofs 100% agree, this is a tiny change and doesn’t destroy any existing content I believe. I has always annoyed me that sprinting out of combat drains stamina.
Skip will also lead you to have less insight and know absolutely nothing about most of the story. I still don't want a skip button on Genshin. I don't understand the point of wanting to skip dialogue in a STORY BASED game. Play something else if all you want is combat.
Well... "Players who play Genshin for Dailies as fast as possible to play other games." "Players who Speedrun most of the story." WHERE'S THE SKIP BUTTON!?
@@xxMiraclesMay blud think that everyone likes long essay dialogue. What I say is that just add skip button not in main story but side quests. If you want to read it then just read it , if you don't want to then you can use skip button to skip it . Don't force us to read it. We want to play games not read essay .Btw RU-vid exist if you want to know information about story . So why bother 8 hours read when you can have someone explain it to you in 20 minutes just to understand the story. We don't want to waste of time cuz we have life to not like you.
They’re not gonna put a skip button and there’s countless game devs online explaining why better than I ever could. Just because the players think they want it doesn’t mean is a feature that will actually work while playing through the quest.
@@biazacha they don't have to add them in the main quest but atleast they should add them on some side quests in the quests without voices they should add skip button
@@maninderjeetsingh7920this is exactly what WW has rn. Can't skip the main plot but can skip the fluff, dailies dialogue and extra stuff that don't contribute much to the quest/story
yeah collecting annoying occuli and teleporting to a statue vs killing overworld mobs and levelling the databank and being able to do it all in the esc menu
also in wuwa you have skip button and skip every dumb npc dialog you want, then i go back to genshin trying to skip daily quest npc dialog it felt annoying af my hand hurt from clicking the dialog 💀
I like that little detail in Wuwa. When you fall from high places. The character instantly does a roll when they lands as if to alleviate the pain. Though they still lost some HP
Even tectone, someone who exposed genshin impact unfair contracts and failed pity system said the game is made for newer public and children, they don't care about end game players.
@@connor.chan.jazzman They have to do that, to keep the players play longer... otherwise once u get all the echoes, u'll reach the endgame and eventually get bored until the next patch
@@alvinnugraha5264 The thing is, even with all the god tier echoes in the world, the endgame ramps up in difficulty a ton, to the point where you'll still take ages to kill a calamity boss even with everything maxed out and amazing stats. Not to mention the one shots too. It'll keep many players engaged and for a long time
This is the main reason why Wuthering Waves is my main game now. The experiences is sooooo much improved. I am no longer playing GI UNLESS they add those features.
This video is comedy gold, and is also true. I installed Genshin after I completed all the content in Wuthering waves (missions, side missions, most of the bosses, just got to grind to 45 now on my account) I couldn't play it. Genshin feels clunky and boring. I have tons of 5 star units, but it just feels lame. Wuthering is not perfect, but imo its a more playable game than genshin. Plus I have more 5 stars on Wuthering, and I am a F2P player haha.
I’ve played too much Genshin and now when I spring in Wuwa I always stop when the stamina bar would have been red in Genshin. Then I realize that it’s full and keep going. Then I stop again bc of natural reflex.
Just the title and the thumbnail had me giggling. No shade of Genshin players cause I used to be one but I cannot imagine how slow it feels if you play both games.
It’s about to be two weeks since I’ve grinded on wuthering waves (I have gotten no sleep of any kind and I made two accounts that are both lvl 35) I’m scared how I’ll play when I go back to genshin
not a chance 🤣 Genshin uses Unity while WuWa uses Unreal Engine 4... if anything good is to be given, it's probably just character designs lol and WuWa is still unoptimized from the bugs
Upon unlocking pulling All new players get a FREE 5 star after selecting who they want on the banner, you get to pick from 5 on top of getting like 40 free pulls from just plain, checkmate mihoyo, your high res crap can't hide your greed
The opposite happened to me with Wuthering Waves. As a genshin player, I kept pressing Q and using my echo when I was trying use my burst. Also, I was shocked from the lack of fall damage
First thing after I learned about Wuwa burst on R. I immediately changed burst shortcut to Q and echo to R. And I don't regret that, I always mixed up whenever I want to burst I pressed Q instead and summon my echo, the first time I play wuwa.
pls don't shit talk about genshin while complimenting others, if there wasn't genshin Wuwa won't even exist. We can see Wuwa had huge inspiration from Genshin. I'm Wuwa player too , but shit talking about Genshin nah, don't go that down like Genshin community.
The entire Genshin gameplay experience is all about waiting and cooldowns. WuWa has literally healed me from this frustration while playing by simplyfying the gameplay and making it more comfortable and enjoyable. I can finally relax while playing and exploring.
That's why fear natlan, having to explore an entire new region after experiencing wuwa will be really painful (unless the pokemons improve it a lot but I don't hold much hopes for that)
So much tedious things are in genshin but there's no replacement before so people cant go anywhere until wuwa came. I remember I 100% areas and it was exhausting, but the issues became more apparent when sumeru came out. From that point I decided to stop exploring until they add vertical map, improve chest compass to actually show the chest, and add skip button for side/world quests. Yes they added 2 out of 3 but it's already too late. IDK why they refuse to add QoL and doesn't respect people's time.
genshin do any thing to make players struggle and make sure to spend more time , if they add these features they gonna make it exclusive for some character so they can get More money
@@failchon Thats completely your choice though? You do realize running around mindlessly killing everything isnt the ONLY way to get echoes? Tacet Fields exists basically a domain that you dont even need to go through loading screens after loading screens just to finish each
@@elliminator9527 I know but i cant. Somehow the need to keep playing the story and because of all the money... its just hard to drop, you know? Especially when you used to like this game once
Also I play on controller and Genshins attack button is on WuWas interact button so my Genshin characters die a lot bc I press the wrong button to plunge or I hit when I wanna interact to start a domain or pick smth.
I didn't play wuwa so I don't understand a single thing in this video except for maybe the stamina i assume wuwa doesn't consume stamina? And probably the rooftop doesn't stop the character
In Wuwa, you can "rush climb" onto walls and mountains, which is far better than Genshin's regular wall climbing system. It's basically being spiderman while depleting a reasonable amount of stamina. Also, the stamina gauge in Wuwa refills faster than in Genshin.
Yeah basically as previously stated you can 1. Run up walls or Climb and it automatically does it when you run up to one. 2. Should there be a ledge above you, the characters will automatically do an animation that allows you to climb over them 3. Sprinting stamina recharges much faster and is only noticeably depleted in combat, this means sprinting for the sake of exploration you barely notice stamina. 4. Should you also run into a low obstacle, i.e. a low wall or box, characters will automatically vault over them. 5. Miscellaneous, as per traversal in addition to gliders, you are also given a grappling hook for short boost upwards or forwards. You also have a very minimal air dodge to also help with traversal. Both of these are applicable in combat also. They also have the light hook thing introduced in sumeru. Echoes/Artifacts some of them have traversal capability like allowing you to turn into a motorbike for a short duration of time. 6. Fall damage is more forgiving in ww but is added at extreme heights.
The things they compared in this video are that in WuWa: -You can move forward while facing a wall will make your character climb it (which is kinda annoying in some cases) -You can press the dash button while climbing to start wall running -You can edge grab -Deal less fall damage and don't kill you instantly when you fall from a certain high like in Genshin -Sprinting don't consume stamina -And the best part, you get 2 5 stars in the beginner banner-
To dumb it down: 1. Wuthering Waves is ALOT more mobile, being able to run up walls at a rather sharp stamina drain, but likely way less eat-some then genshin`s slow climb. 2. Echoes which basically double as a second elemental skill in genshin terms, allows for not only expansive combat trickery but many of them double as utility options like a `loot bot` golem for harvesting rocks if your lazy. A dancing turtle for slow healing, a pocket mini shield for your party, a gap closing dash that can also be used in mid air for traversal, a literal biker from hell which push and holding will turn into a massive long distance traversal action, though likely a smidge difficult to turn on mobile, but its a chef`s kiss on cinematic play for it. 3. Just to further add on the traversal, they even have extra stuff that basically teabags genshite, where if your running on a wall, the ability to just straight up `flip` on a ledge that normally would screw genshin climbers, WuWa just outright can parkour most typical obstacles unless they purposely design it to not allow long distance air dashing, cover it entirely in thorny brambles and no fiery bombs within a 1 mile radius to long-throw it straight on to them. 4. Oh and speaking of echos, did you know they do not COST STAMINA, are constantly on the overworld map, can be farmed repeatedly to get different affix combinations and often goes between 2 or 3 elements on the rolls so you can be insanely flexible on your `echo team load out` for each unit, without needing to spend a single point of stamina on it, since the only `critical` tool for echos is tuners if you want the extra sub-stats outside of the 2 primary main stats?
