kinda poggers though lots of cooling capability, epic looks like it has great build quality and is robust, amazing still has lots of room inside granted its space, very cool and is small yet rigid looking. 10/10 Also I've a case very similar to his, difference is mine includes the optional grated top (for thermals,) is open at the front (for thermals), and a side is glass. It is extremely heavy, unnecessarily massive, and overly expensive (I should have gone for something smaller, which is what I wanted, but when looking for advice on my build list, the steam community peer pressured me into getting something big.) Overall, pretty awesome thermals, too big, too heavy, too expensive.
You could throw a capture card in the old one so the new one doesn't have to multitask. Should help with random frame drops and especially crashing in less than stable games.
That’s a very interesting idea. 2 problems with that. One: his new pc is wildly overpowered and could probably live stream 8 instances of heavily modded minecraft before it even broke a sweat 2: he would have to buy a second (or third depending on setup) monitor so he can fuck with his old and new PCs at the same time
the part where he said "all the miner convinces that dont matter are now available" is so relatable and it feels so good. he's not wrong. just built my pc too. same CPU but with an rx 6600
4:37 "I'll make a video on this game soon" Looks like Martin underestimated the pain of Just Cause 4. It's been 2 years! I don't blame him though, I've one hundred percented Just Cause 4 and I don't want to do that ever again.
@@RandomEngineerMan personally I see a complaint more as something that is more subjective. It's literally not good enough for him to do his job. Not a complaint, just a statement of fact
I still bet your pc is 100x times better than mine with 3.7 ram which of 3.2 is constantly used by the os and still yet with a hard drive and yet it can not run mc bedrock with no lag at all whhen some rasberry pi's can
@@Why72833 you probably installed too much bloat on windows then. 300 MB of RAM is being used for your integrated graphics. Windows should not take up 3.2GB of RAM. Try disabling startup programs and services.
His old PC aside from GPU is more powerful than the PC I play VR on. It plays VR fine, only minor drops. Also, perfect description of Squad, especially when the squad leader doesn't put down a rally point. Haven't played since they added helicopters, will be a massive learning curve jumping back into it.
Lol, ya mean the ones that are actually not gonna conflict? Well if he would play Power Armor MK4 mod and fill all the slots in it with armor pockets from Armor Pocket mod, that would be insane
Meanwhile I'm sitting here, lovingly holding the cheapest laptop from 2012, and softly telling it is doing its job so its self-esteem doesn't collapse and sends it into a massive crash
Mine was working good, for a laptop of that same year, but i was a bit scared and wanted some more power, i installed a SSD and change My old 2gb ram stick to one of 4gb I m still scared cuz now i don't know how much power it has now and what other things i can play on it
@@xonxt7479 B R U H, ORIGINAL LOQUENDO, LOQUENDO BY ITSELF IT'S ONLY ONE VOICE, THE OG ONE WAS JUST ONE VOICE, The auto selected one, and sorry for caps, i noticed i had caps lock but im just too lazy to re-write it.
Thats because arma is not a GPU game but heavily CPU bound. You would think in the time it came out (2013) you people wouldve learned it. For Arma 3 you need some simple things. First off its optimised to be used on INTEL CPU´s. Even with Ryzen beeing such a go to choice these times if you only play arma go with a fucking 10900k. Arma needs Fast single core performance, fast RAM with tight timings, and a SSD would be recommended. It does not matter if you have a 1070 or 3090. As long as its ballanced. Just write these things down as a guide way if you buy a PC and want to play mainly Arma 3 (at the best possibile performance today )and some E-Sports titles: Fast AF Single Core CPU (Example Intel 10900k or equal high single core boost) Fast RAM (Example 3600MHZ CL16) rest is mostly irrellevant
@@rubilacxe033 You should know that the 5000 series Ryzen processors have higher single core speeds than Intel processors in 2021. The improvements in IPC have overcome the slightly slower base clock speeds and since the 3000 series Ryzen, AMD has had better speeds due to much better IPC per core. A 5800x works perfrectly fine for arma 3, you just need a faster ram.
@@rubilacxe033 a ryzen 5 5600x or ryzen 7 5800x can run arma 3 better than anything intel currently has to offer. With the 3X00 series of cpu amd was altleast already faster in arma compared to the locked i5 parts, Since the 5X00 they are the fastest it will get especially if you treat them with 3600mhz cl14 memory
As someone who also just got a new PC, going around and testing every game you own with maxed out settings to see how much better it is is exactly what you do first
I also bought a new pc with some swanky specs only to run in the biggest villian. Piss poor game optimization meets one of best processor/gpu on the market at the moment
TYSM. I wanted to change my 1 year old case to somethign with more HDD space. I have a Fractal design 1000 Micro ATX case. Its not bad at all, but it does have some faults with cable managment & space.
I feel you bro. Some time ago I upgraded from mx150 laptop (a bit slower than gt1030) to rtx 3080 ti pc with 27 inch 1440p monitor. That was a move from 20-30 low to constant 144 fps ultra in most games (and well above 60 in newer ones)
@@Huh-xz7ob you're both wrong, the scalpers is because of the extreme influx of new gamers, not scalpers. If it was about scalpers, PS5s and Xboxes would not be scalped.
Martin complaining about his old pc feels painful for someone whos been on a old laptop for 6 years that is consistently about 10-14 fps and about 150-246 ping as a usual
honestly i feel as if the new 20 and 30 series cards arent tested enough, sure they have a ton of power but i dont think the cards have been well optimized so every system is hit with a internal bottleneck, and i feel this issue will become even more previlent with higher and higher numbered cards and we will see even more diminishing returns
It's a bit old, but if you assembled it yourself, you might did something wrong when installing the cooler. I don't think your cpu is supposed to be that hot.
Tbh prebuilts love not removing the fucking plastic on the cpu/cooler, throttling the fucking thing and making it as hot as a microwave. They also barely put in thermal paste
@@reedman0780 Common myth actually. The plastic makes no difference at all. Linustechtips made a video about it. And as for the thermal paste, yes that would make a significant difference. But i doubt anyone would be stupid enough to not put it on
