How lomg does raw milk lasr in the fridge. It mostly depends on your personal flavor prefernce. Heres what I tell our customers #rawmilk #rawmilkrevolution #wellnessjourney #farmersmarket #milkstorage #homestead #dairycow #rawmilkfarmer
Thank you for your information 🙏😊 so if it gets „bad“ I can not get sick of it ? It only tastes bad. Do I got it right? Because I’m the internet stays it then definitely can cause health problems.
If not properly milked, stored and cared for it can go bad. But good milk can ferment and still be used. Tangy and tart after a week or two is fairly normal.
thank you very much 😊 how do I notice if the milk was properly milked, stored and especially cared for it? I asked my farmer. He said he put the milk immediately to the Refrigerator. So I think it is stored well and also milked correctly. But what about care for it how can I know this? Thank you 😊
Mine separated in the fridge (glass jar) with whey top and curd settled to bottom. How can i ise this? Remix and add to baking or just pour off whey and use curds separate?
That’s not whey and curds - that’s cream on top and skim on the bottom. Just shake back up and drink or use. If tart and tangy just use in cooking or baking
Thank you so much for clarification. I drink mine up to 2 weeks but received to hear it doesn't 'go bad'. What about the cream? Same thing for the theory, 'it doesn't go bad'?
I've got a question - I left raw milk in half gallon jars in my fridge for almost 4 weeks - I went to make butter from the cream but it had a funk taste. A bitterness to it. Not a tangy yogurt flavor. I'm not sure if I can still use it for anything. It tastes like the time I put too much rennet in my cheese.
If you used it for anything, you’d want to use it for something that you cook or bake and heat up. If you’re not comfortable with that it makes amazing fertilizer if you mix one part milk to nine parts water.💪
