I was a really heavy smoker and it took me a little over 90 days to get clean. I was even going to the gym, drinking a lot of water and chilling in the sauna. 7 year smoker multiple times a day took me a bit over a month to get clean. Drink a gallon on water a day. And some cranberry juice (glass a day). #teamswartz

I would say 30 days for it to be completely out your system but 2 weeks to pass a drug test.. but that depends on the person and diet. If you always exercise its going to come out your system faster than those who lay on the couch. Heavy smoker before i joined and i was clean after 30 days. Now that i barely smoke it takes a week to be able to piss clean, but im skinny and ill only smoke once

Overall you won’t have any problems if you don’t smoke and it should be easy to stop if you already do it may be hard but what someone IK used to stop smoking was replace it with another thing when he wanted to smoke and it was simply just altoids mints I’m sure it varies person to person but still

I have a question, its been about 30days since I smoked, let’s say I go to speak with my recruiter and he drug test me in the office and I test positive for THC again, do I qualify for a waiver or do I need to continue to wait for my system to be clean And my second question is lets say I apply for a waiver due to THC being in my system, am I still able to qualify for the MOS/job that I want in the Army?

i’ve had to quit smoking a few times now, and I can say one thing the only thing that helps to speed up the sobriety is sweating, water, and detox drinks also help. most detox Drinks won’t get rid of it, but they will speed along the process I know they say no you don’t drink detox because they have to say that they want you to get clean in the proper amount of time I called bullshit I’m doing it my way it’s my body. A detox drink isn’t gonna affect my life, nor is it going to affect my life in the military. You don’t have to cut out tobacco, alcohol and vapes that’s not the toxin that’s causing you to fail a drug test THC is failing your drug test and that is an absolutely nothing other than weed. There’s no logical reason to believe that it would speed up sobriety either I didn’t cut out anything, except for the obvious THC, and I only drank water. If you do it this way it will be out of your system in 25 to 35 days depending on your weight and your fat percentage. THC is stored in fat cells when you sweat it releases inside of those fat cells once it releases the water that you’ve been drinking, flushes it out, that’s why they say drink as much water as possible. That way you have the maximum chance to flush out everything cutting out tobacco, alcohol or nicotine in general isn’t necessary and won’t make it faster. It may make it a day or two faster but if you need a day or two, and you’re trying to join anything else, other than the army or the military, you might as well get a reliable, fake piss because it is actually impossible to get it out of your system completely in under 15 days unless your fat percentage is extremely low and there’s no place to store the THC. That way it could possibly be out of your system in up to 15 days but most people that smoke weed, I’m sorry to say and it’s a little funny or either out of shape or have a high fat percentage. It’s just how it is. LOL. no hate here just a little bit of advice from a seven-year weed smoker and also a guy that has had to quit many times. I have unfortunately had to learn every rope to stay sober because unfortunately, the USA as a whole has not legalized weed is it OK in the workplace? Absolutely not in some places yes but in most no. In all reality, it should be perfectly OK for somebody to go home after a long day of work and smoke a bowl and start Chillaxin. It’s the exact same for somebody who wants to go home after a hard day of work and drink a few beers perfectly normal not going to affect the next day whatsoever or the days to come but as I said, being high at work isn’t OK at any job but when you’re at home They shouldn’t tell you what to do You’re at your own house doing your own thing out I would like to smoke or do something to calm my mind whether it’s watch TV smoke drink or some thing to alleviate and bring you down so you can go to sleep. I’ll pick marijuana because it helps me go to sleep quicker but some people a few beers or a couple hits off of vape is all they need. I actually finally made the decision to join the army so once again, I have to quit smoking. I am now 12 days in sobriety and awaiting a waiver on an L5 surgery that I had back in 2020 should have news Wednesday hopefully good news but anyway, just some advice no hate just my insight on the matter from what I’ve learned over the years.

Would previously having a MMJ card get me disqualified? The reason for the card was “LBP 5.45” which was just due to lifting and I heard it could be used to speed up recovery time. Didn’t get the desired effected so I got it voided. Also on the paperwork it states that I “no longer having a deliberating medical condition”. Ive been 100% clean for months

So I just thankfully stopped smoking weed to join the military but my question is can I go to my recruiter and start the process and explain I need to be clean first or is it best to get all the way clean then go talk to them so they don't think negatively of you?

I smoked 10 years everyday, turn to Jesus & ask God for maturity. Not only does smoking lead to hell (drunkeness) but society doesnt respect it & neither does law enforcement. Its rebellious & thats why all this sneaky detox behavior feels bad as well. Youll be thankful for quiting. Use video games or something or working out to replace your addiction. When you believe in Jesus you receive the holy spirit from God & youll be set free from your sphere of addiction. Last point, the speaker said watch who your friends are. Delete their numbers or cease friendships. Some people never want to change

I haven’t used thc in 6 days and I’m drinking 2 gallons of water a day on the 13th is when I take my physical it will be 2 weeks by that’s time will I pass the drug test ? I’m not a occupational smoker and I weight 168 and I’m gonna use detox drinks the day before and night before and the morning

Hey @TEAM SWARTZ, I have another question not THC related, but I accepted to work as a 31B(Military Police) how hard is it for me to transfer/work from a 31B to a 31K, I know 31K is a hard or limited MOS to work in but is the process long? Or dependent on how I work as a 31B

For prior service do u know if genesis will be able to see all my past pha records from when I was in the army?
