I feel the same way with shulk your not alone. I love to see people playing shullk but at the same time theres a certain magic of having character that you can't find very easily.

I felt the same way but with gunner. Sans was cool but also a double-edged sword because everyone was playing gunner and it ruined the special feeling of seeing/being a gunner

“Thrupper kinda sucks” It’s a frame 3 OOS that can ALSO kill, there’s no way in hell it’s bad.

Heli Kick is the worst up-b OOS. Soaring Axe Kick has range while thrupper has speed. Heli Kick has neither. It also only kill confirms at ledge whereas Thrupper kills everywhere. Heli Kick can be better on high ceilings like Town & City, but even then it has the worst recovery out of any Brawler up-b.

Heli gets exponentially worse if people do as Marss says and don’t be stupid and put yourself at ledge

I feel like everything you just said is very much applicable to Fox except Brawler has much better options to compensate for those "flaws" plus a much higher weight. I'm also not sure what "not good" options means but there are only a few "bad" and competitively unexplored options that Brawler has. Plus, with such little representation, who's to say any of his options are bad? For the majority of this game, the options once considered bad that are now Brawler's standard choices are considered to be fantastic and versatile. Just food for thought; I'd give them a whirl, there is still so much to learn about this game.

@@itachi428123 .You have it backwards. Fox's mobility is better. His recovery is way better. His combo starters work for longer, including side-b which is one of the best burst options in the game. Up-tilt loops are actually practical for Fox. Not good as is not good. There's only one thing that can mean. And nobody needs to wait for representation to see obvious issues with bad moves. E.g It's not like Exploding Side Kick is some unknown quantity like GnW's f-air was when Ultimate released. It's just a slightly less bad version of Falcon Punch. The only reason it ever works is people don't know the MU.

@@nathanlevesque7812 I agree with you that fox’s mobility is better than brawler. But Brawlers mobility is still high tier worthy. Fox has a linear and exploitable recovery compared to smash 4. Which why fox mains complain about his recovery options. Fox side B is a pretty bad as far as burst options. It can’t cross through shields so it’s punishable. Also up tilt loops are pretty bad in this game compared to smash 4. And exploding side kick is of his worse neutral B move. Mach punch or shot put is the neutral B to use. The point I’m trying to say is every character has pros and cons. Brawlers pros is beyond his cons. The character has good results in Japan recently.

@@jackanderson368 Linear recovery yes but it still goes three times farther than Brawler's options. I don't agree that his side-b or up-tilt loops are bad just bc they don't have something from a previous title. People need to stop acting like this is Smash 4 part 2. In Ultimate's environment they are both highly effective. Unlike shotput which doesn't mesh with Brawler's kit, puts opponents outside of his good combo and KO windows, and just doesn't work against opponents who know the MU. It's an online strat for opponents that have little to no Brawler experience.

@@nathanlevesque7812 I’m probably biased on fox because I don’t like him in smash ultimate compared to smash 4. Fox is high or top tier, but Nintendo still should give him fixes on his moves. As for mii brawler, I’ve been playing for about a month. I definitely think he has potential. The ability to customize your move set depending on your opponent is versatile. Also mii brawler disadvantage is great because of feint jump having invincibility at the start of it. I was able to out camp wifi sonic with brawler. Brawler might have flaws, but I think he can a threat in the meta with his good advantage/disadvantage state.
