Idc if he spent so much money. End of the day he turned Man City from a good team that any team in the EPL could beat to a scary team that many times would struggle to beat
@@wimwoler well you're definitely not a city fan cause they don't exist, who would want to play or even go to the Emptyhad anyways? Cheaters, nobody likes ye and you're completely oblivious

Pep really made football as we know it today. I mean his influence goes as far as from Pirlo to Messi. Being influenced by his move from Johan Fricking Cruyff
@@johntrondheim I mean that you are using money argument in money driven business. What do you expect? Do you thin that LVG or Mourinho came to MU for free, or any other manager for that matter anywhere else. Cit put enormous effort to lure Pep in, and they have succeed. good job.
@@ThomDull what's hard to understand? pep wouldn't have come to Manchester City if they didn't have a massive financial advantage against their opponents. I'm not angry or salty, just stating a fact. I actually like Pep and don't really have a problem with Manchester city.
@Deep Mind X Arsenal spent 98 mil last year, that was their net spending. You have to be factually correct. Also the difference in net spneding between City and everyone else in the prem in the last 5 years is huge.
@Deep Mind X are you serious??? You dont understand that that net spend is what you buy minus what you sell? AGAIN City has spend 665 mil in the last 5 years, going back to the last year of Pellegrini. That's by far more than anyone else. I can't tell if you are serious or a troll.
@Deep Mind X I love how you contradict your self. Beforehand it was United spending more than City, now just as much? Secondly City's payroll is almost 35 mil more than Liverpool's this year. Do you search anything to back your claims or you love being ignorant? You do understand that City is banned for overspending basically? Also PSG and their deals, although similar, have nothing to do with this argument.
@Deep Mind X Furthermore, you don't seem to understand the difference in commercial revenue between City and the likes of Liverpool and United, who are stil bigger brands than them. That would allow them to spend the same amount like City and they dont. All the numbers are one click away for you to fact check.
Awesome video . People need to give credit to him. Some people think that he goes just to clubs with money. People if he won so much titles why would he go to a small club .his teams play awesome football.
@@beatsbyadmiralz5915 I am quite sure you would be very upset with the way City is playing right now. One of the very best defense, ball possession and passing second to none, and getting back to high class attacking football on the front. Just a few more blocks and I bet this city team will be a complete football team and surely ready for UCL. They can't make excuses now. It's a great great team and should win a UCL.
The awnser ain't money as y'all been saying Pep was meant for City he was wanted even back in his playing days and when the Shiekh's came they build towards bringing Pep and that's really clever and innovative piece of business .
@@beatsbyadmiralz5915 SO walker doesn't play, Cancelo doesn't play. Wasn't mendy playing before 2 career destoying injuries or isn't zinchenko playing. Give yourself a break man.
@@elshaarawy9255 every manager will choose a club with plan to win things and ambitions.pep also said one of the reason he join was becoz city chairman was a good friend of his and he promise he will be supported at the club.
I mean even I'm interested in how the persuaded pep guardiola to come to city. Asking the best coach of modern football to your club means they must've pitched a great idea to guardiola. Well whatever it is it went well for both parties. If you love football as sport you'll understand how much they've changed football. In a way it's a masterstroke for premier league bcoz more and more talented players and managers are coming to premier league and making it exciting than ever.
Correct me if I am wrong but I thought I heard somewhere that Pep left Barcalona becuase of a falling out with someone in higher up managment of the club?
Everyones upset city spends money but its alright I'm sure the fans will be really hurt seeing that original joke for the first time. Oh they have no fans? another original zinger, but half of you can't decide whether they have plastic fans or no fans at all. Anyway I don't see how its rational to say its money that's made them good when united are still the richer club and have been shit, they spent money to stay at the top of the league when they were there, you thought Fergie only coached academy students? he was a world class manager that wanted world class players and got them. Chelsea the first new money club in the league, weren't so hot until they got a new owner, Liverpool are owned by fsg same dude that owns the sox, they have funds and when they needed to improve they got Allison Keita and Vvd . But yes spend money very bad
Well he wouldn't have went to arsenal because they are worse than us since Ferguson left and it is all about money with pep how much am i going to get to spend. Hes nothing but a fraud hes nowhere near what people think hes only managed world class winning teams Barcelona and buyern. Garenteed trophy's . No1 is impressed go manage someone like ac milan or someone like that who's dropped off see how good u really are
@Deep Mind X dude ,again you are posting the same comment everywhere. Anyone can go to transfermarkt and check out the net spending, which was the same for City and Arsenal last year. Pep has been there since 2016, why dont you check out how much he has spend since then?
Name of article: 'How Man City Beat Europe's Biggest Clubs to Pep Guardiola' Answer: Money. Lots and lots of money. Not once does the title cite net transfer spend. Fact of the matter is that before the oil money, city were a smaller club than Everton and the only reason they are now winning is simply down to cash. That is how City beat the biggest clubs in europe to Pep Guardiola. Nothing more, nothing less.
Everything you need to know about the Busby Babes. Everything you need to know about the Uefa Champions League. Everything you need to know about the Ballon D’or.
@Deep Mind X I mean, is not difficult to see it. Pep only goes to clubs with a humble budget of a billion pounds full of stars. So, for a club like City, showing him a lot of green is not hard at all
While overtaking Bayern barca and Real Madrid in continental competition. Really? Remove all of the 24 UCLs between the 3 clubs and each of them would still have a better continental CV than city
0:46 "overtaking Barca, Bayern and Real Madrid in continental competition"😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂I'm dying. This guy always manages to drop a clanger. City might be better than them on paper, but in the past decade they had ONE season where they went further in the UCL (2016 Barca, last year Real and Bayern) than those three clubs (who won 7 UCL's between them in the 2010's btw)
Just an idea for a show to do in this time without football. How about doing a state of the club type show. Where you go through either PL or the Champions league clubs and discuss their on the field and off the field standings. How they do in the back office and how they do on the field.
@Deep Mind X because City is the only club in the world that is currently banned from playing in Europe because of spending too much money. In the years Pep is there, they spent 150 mil net, every year. Im not a hater, I recognize him as one the greatest manegers ever, but to deny that he has bought his way out of trouble with City is comical. And he took over a great squad anyway.
no, Pep is altruistic guy so he heard about this league where everyone is volunteering as managers and he joined City, and then Jose said well that is very nice thing to do and said i will also join in for free in club form Salford
Nah. He could had got that money from many other clubs. In fact, right now he is not even the highest earning manager and falls behind by a great margin. He came to city because of the ambition. City's ambition matched his. Of course money was important. But can you seriously say that average players can play Pep kind of football? I don't think so. He wanted to create a side on his own. Good, hard working players with passion to learn and evolve and win. That takes money. Pep knew City will give him money and freedom to experiment because the club is ambitious. I don't think there was any doubt in pep's mind after that.
I can understand the impact on City when Pep leaves, but they won't fall. That's for sure. The club is being rebuilt on 2 principles. A) The best management system. B) High class footballing philosophy. And people at that club don't interfere into another principle when being part of other one is the main reason of why City just keeps on rising. So as far as this mentality is there, I am quite sure they will find another manager who can take them forward. Because money, time and freedom is all a manager wants and City management looks comfortable in providing that and don't mingle it with business.
