well, it actually is worse.. bc idk if you guys noticed, but if you get, let's say, a new-set circlet with EM, it'll appear as a new item.. if you get again the circle from this very same set, but with hp%, it'll appear again.. I noticed the game does this 2 times if you get a new artifact but with different main stats.. from the third time on, it doesn't appear again anymore..
The weapon banner as "bait" was a great little Easter egg😂 High quality video as usual, gotta love it I hope you never get bored of making these amazing video+
I guessed 10000. Pretty close, but a bit higher. Probably bc I aim to read every item’s description. Also I sometimes have this “Wait, I’ve seen this before!” with quest items like the Chasm ring and Liyue pillars ring. They ARE actually the same thing recolored (called “Brass Ring” and “Dull ring”) I spent AGES trying to find the other one on the wiki!😭
Idk if you counted this in the artifact section, but there is a green rarity berserker feather piece. I think you can get it from a liyue NPC? Not sure tho I did that 3 years ago now haha
Counting all that must have taken sooooo long oml 🤯 Did you also include event-exclusive items that can be obtained but expire after the event ends (like joyeux vouchers)?? And what about event weapon refinements? I always love how their design complements the weapon but they have their own description 🤩
I expected it to crack 5 figures. A game of this magnitude, with all the stuff behind the scenes that the programmers have to worry about and we never think twice on, plus variants upon variants.
I guessed 6000 at the beginning, and on the second chance to guess changed it to 2000 because the amount of items up to that point didn't seem that high 😂 genshin really is a building sim
Oof, and we could also add currency types (mora, primogems, genesis crystals, resin, coins in TCG, mora, etc.). Then a bunch of crafting related assets such as weapon billets. Also furnishing sets.
I thought 2000. I knew the amount was ridiculous but I thought surely it can't be much worse than 2000. I was wrong. The tea pot alone beat my guess. Now I'm starting to think the cap on inventory space is too low.
Small mistake, TCG "event cards" don't mean they are from events, it means they're a card that you use it once and it has an immediate effect. There is barely any event-exclusive tcg content apart from a couple card backs. Whoever, if you include all the cosmetic upgrades from tcg, you'd get even more items...
I WAS KINDA CLOSE (5041) Also, the way I was second guessing myself throughout the first 3 chapters thinking I guessed too high just for my guess to be over 2000 items less
I guessed in between 10 and 20 thousand, but I misunderstood thought we were counting more other things like enemies, animals, viewpoints and some other overworld things Eventually will be there when Khaenri'ah releases though
A LOT. Most of them are useless but neat. Edit: I don't think books and cards and such should count. Those aren't unique items, they're cards and books that are part of a mini game mechanic/world-building. Artefacts straight-up don't count, they're part of a game mechanic, aame with teapot stuff unless it's from an event or like Kusari's mask which you have to talk to an NPC to get, Zhongli's dragon fan, you get the idea. Same with dishes unless it's something like an NPC's dish quest item (Vahid's onigiri for example.) Kind of clickbaity title and reaching on what counts as unique to get an absurd number artificially, if you'd left it at unique quest items or food from NPCs/weapons like the black sword you'd have an interesting video, and you could go over each of them and their meaning rather than trying to count every single thing in the game as unique. If I started counting every mint and said it was unique because of its location I would have a lot of "unique" items too.
Maybe yeah, but since each individual artifact piece and type of dish have its own unique description (artifact descriptions found in the archive), along with individual artifact pieces officially being called different things, I would consider them to be unique enough
