In this video, I will be using almost exclusive facts and math to try and determine who Hoyoverse's favorite character is. We always talk about our favorite characters, but what are the developers of Genshin Impact's favorite characters? Hope you liked the video!

Childe in two archon quests , and pretty important role sounds impressive 🫡 , and he most likely will be in Sneznaya AQ too

I think Scaramouche is one of Hoyoverse's favourite. Guy had a whole Archon quest around his lore(inculding 2 essays about him)

@@lizabee that's even more impressive. He had an ARCHON quest centered around him, no Archon has had that. you HAVE to do it to move on with the story. It's not just an optional story quest. I do wish we get one thoo

Scaramouche had over 2 years of build up was teased since Liyue, and has Descender knowledge (Because only he and You, the Traveler know Rukkhadevata.) Has 3 Limited time Events centered around him. There should be more thats all i remember for now.

Furina has been in every patch since Fontaines release, they clearly have a favorite now

It's a little early to tell right now, but she is the highest fontaine character so far and just barely outside the top 10 (11th), so yeah I would not be surprised at all if she moves up higher

My favorite is Kaeya! so im reallly happy about this! I guessed it would be Ayaka, and being the only one to even surpass an archon + the 200+ days banner makes it practicaly right cuz archons would always have favoritism very good video thank you :D

Yes, but cloud retainer only appeared in 1 other event (I think?) before this update, so she doesn't get that much of a boost

Xinyan is an interesting case. She is not the most neglected anymore, but she waited nearly a year after release to appear in the game in any way, and additionally is not in any permenant content. The latter fits the role of a musician in a world without much recorded media pre fontaine, the former is just strange.

I pulled childe and he's just benched all the time because he needs such ridiculously high crit rate to function properly....i even play my C2 Klee more often in burgeon teams, just easier to build xD
