You hear it all the time. Flat attack is bad, while attack% is good. Is flat attack really that much worse compared to attack%? I find that out in this video! I also look at two other questions, 1) How long does it take to reach friendship level 10, and 2) Who's the most average Genshin character? I know they're never gonna do it, because they want flat stats to be bad, but I would love it if flat stats were counted as base stats instead. That way it would be more about finding a good ratio of flat and % stats.

When it comes to collecting dailies with Katherine in Co-op you are actually able to do it if the co-op member joins and the co-op starts after you open Katherine's menu but before collecting the exp, and you'll be able to get the double exp, unless they patched that since I last tested that in 4.2

@@raymouse yep yep, I saw someone show how to do it when calculating the same thing, it worked for me then using my friend's account and if you can get someone to request a world invite at just the right moment, you should be able to do it yourself!

3:45 You actually can if you use a glitch If you talk to Katherine and stay on the menu, you can have one of your friends join your world and you can collect your commissions with double friendship exp. Its been awhile since I tried this but it should still work hopefully

For friendship xp, there are spots that guarantee a 15 point value. One, for example, is the "dog feeding one" in Inazuma. So 2100 from events per week, and therefore, just over 10k per week. That Inazuma one, by the way, will also be available each time you log into the world, so quit and log back in, you can do it 10x pretty quickly. And yes, some people do do that. Though most likely not while using co-op.

Also, you can increase your weekly exp by 700 if you have someone join you in coop right after you start talking to katherine, but before you accept the reward. This does work and my friends and I usually do this before farming the Inazuma puppers.

I used to do the dog feeding thing every day. I stopped doing it since I didn’t want to max everyone out and waste the friendship exp I got just by playing. I currently have all my characters except Arlecchino, Chiori, and Mika (all of whom I’ve only gotten in the last two patches) at max friendship.

The best method known for farming random event 10x15 is crocodile farming in sumeru, there is a tiny island near old varanara, you can stand there, use ganyu/yelan or anyone that can 1shot em, exit game and login again rinse and repeat

Random events in co op sucks, but solo it shouldn't take more than 5 minutes to do 😆especially that spot in inazuma with a bow character to shoot at the wall to kill the pigeons and the sumeru spot near Varanara where you kill 2 gators Edit: and all you have to do is kill them, return to the spot you were at to spawn the events, quit to menu and go back in, which takes a few seconds with decent internet

I did the coop friendship farm for Yae Miko in patch 2.5 when I got her. She hit friendship 10 just before her banner finished. I had to rush her card.

I mean, yes atk% is better then flatatk, that is something most people can accept, but more like flatatk is maybe better then hp/def (on characters who wants to deal damage ofc), so it would be a more relevant comparison to do flatatk vs '0' instead since many states that flatatk is basicly as bad as them. Still, very well made video, gj! :)

You can collect dailies in co-op, actually! Talk to Katherine in single player, accept a join request while in the dialogue menu and you'll get double the friendship points!

I need a character with a passive that ensures you wont get artifacts with flat Hp, Def, Atk sub-stats. Every time I see flat Def I know that the probability if getting subsequent rolls on it it higher that the sum of the probability of the other sub-stats.

Before the clues trying to guess each mode myself, I thought it would be either Keqing or Ayaka. After the clues, I went with Ayaka. One of the easiest (correct) conclusions of my life. 😂

Yeah but who want Shenhe these days... I love Wrio but eh... She was too tailor made for Ayaka or to be C6 lol. More into a Xianyun rerun, as usual with healer plenty of people didn't see her value on first run. And being good at explo + enabling fun and simple to play comps with a large majority of the cast is simply good imo. Anyway, thx for the video. Informative ^^

What is the better survivability stat? Defense or HP? Does the answer change when healing/shielding is also used?

Defense allow you tank hit better which applied to Shield as well as no shield. HP just more heath. If you have alot of HP but not enough Defense to take it, you might still die. However it's best if we just don't take dmg and avoid the risk. So both are equal in survivability.

How bad base atk? Depends on the character, character that has lower than 200 atk base at level 90 definitely profit more from atk flat

Flat attack is actually good, especially if it's a support character running a support weapon with low base attack Especially someone like Lisa with TTDS as hyperbloom proccer, that extra damage from flat atk is very much appreciated

Neither TTDS nor hyperbloom become better with the carrier/trigger gaining atk. And %atk is always way more atk than flat, unless you keep both your character and weapon near lvl 1 just for the sake of going "nuh uh". The stat is exactly as bad as it's made out to be - a waste of a roll. It shouldn't exist, it only does for the sake of padding the arti grind

@@Ayzev No? You literally can't roll EM as a substat on an EM piece... Hyperbloom runs EM/EM/EM, and the only useful substats you can get on those pieces are ER/crit/atk and flat Atk would be the best stat there, because your crit ratio is definitely trash without a crit circlet, and the best EM weapon (Sac Frag) has low base attack.

I really enjoyed the video, but for the first part of the video, wouldn't it have been best to make a graph plotting both flat atk and atk% so you can illustrate exactly where they cross on the graph, which thenceforth would be when atk% is better? I know this is meant to be a quick overview but graphs were quite literally invented to visually present mathematical information in a way that is easier to understand.
