Great video, I was a truck driver and really didn't know much on growing my earnings. I’m currently retired, and considering the current rollercoaster nature of the stock market, I decided to stay on the sideline for awhile, now I’m worried with the numerous bank failures as of late, am I better off reinvesting my savings in the stock market.

Growing money is not the same as keeping it there is a reason why investments aren't well taught in schools, the examples you gave are well stationed, the market crisis gave me my first millions, people shy away from hard times, I embrace them.

Not at all, having monitored edge my portfolio performance which has made a jaw dropping $573k from just the past two quarters alone, I have learned why experienced traders make enormous returns from the seemingly unknown market. I must say it's the boldest decision I've taken since recently.

I feel into the school trap and owe a grip. I am an e-seller and it is a slow grind but I plan to take that money and flip it into something else. Started with $2500 and now at about 15k with savings and inventory. Doing it part time and still working. Do the online thing a few hours a week. Not alot but have to start somewhere bro. Trying to turn that 15 into 30 then make a bigger move. Got to hustle dog

College kids don’t really look down on people for being truckers, a lot of us got forced into college due to fearful parents wanting us to succeed...our school systems also failed us by not educating us on realistic career options other than college...a lot of us feel scammed not better than others

Reyes I started my journey in 2015. I worked as an IT person for a prestigious school in Atlanta. I was laid off after the holidays. I decided to go to trucking driving school in Missouri. I became an OTR driver quickly and traveled the lower 48 states straight for 2 years. Be patient and diligent. You can make a lot of money quickly. Do soul searching it’s not for everyone.

This story is amazing! I wish more kids could figure out what Jose figured out. Have a goal, stick to it and don't get discouraged. And he is saving money and paying for things with cash! When most kids' are just getting out of college burdened with massive debt, Jose is going to own his own business and be well on his way to being a millionaire. @@GreenLittleRobot I'm not exClty sure logisticly but one thing everyone says across the board is that margins are very slim in transportation. Take an uber driver. He may make 1200 a week but how much gas did he spend? And how often is he changing his oil now? Etc..

I work in a grocery and when we get a delivery, the driver has to back into a small space in order to unload the shipment. My point is i would cause a lot of damage by trucking. I do not have the confidence or necessary skill to pull it off. Need something with less on the line

Love the energy man I’ve been working on all my side hustles. I’m getting into hot shot driving and I live where it snows so snowplowing and getting into junk removal as well. Honestly in my experience I would just bust your ass and not look for a company to pay for the training and pay it yourself. I’m only 22 but have been to trade school for being an electrician. And they didn’t pay enough but they’re excuse was because they paid for the school. Either way you go about it I wish you the best of luck brother 🤙

Don’t forget the insurance plus long time waiting while seated on a small truck ,fuel , lunch, maintenance ,tires, tickets and mechanic repairs it’s a pretty good paying job if you get used to it and maintain your truck at 100%

Edmund A yeah that’s until your engine goes out and it’s 25k to fix it. That’s - every month then. The avg owner and operator makes 100-180k a year and usually don’t bring home 40-60k. But nobody never talks about that. Just the big checks

Da bull bruh youre math is so wrong. Minimum a O/O will make 70k a year. And that’s with expenses of paying of the truck and maintenance. After paying the truck off you make a pretty penny until you need a new one

Trucking company is my ultimate goal. I'm 23 right now. At 19 I got a job with a trucking company in their garage as a mechanic, to learn that side of the business. That when I do buy my own truck, I can do my own repairs and maintenance. Most of my money over the past few years has gone towards buying tools to work on trucks, so I only have about $6,000 saved currently. I honestly would have been better off to wait until actually owning a truck first before buying some of the more expensive tools, because that has set me back a little, but I will still get there eventually. I just recently switched companies and finally got my CDL this year, and have started driving part time, while continuing to do the mechanic work part time. In the near future I'm going to transition into driving full time until I finally have enough to buy my first truck and put it on the road. I definitely have enough tools and knowledge in the mechanic aspect by now to handle most of my repairs and maintenance. Now is the time to start getting my driving experience. Breakdowns, downtime, and repair bills can be a killer for a trucking company, so for me it was pretty important to learn everything I can about trucks if I want to own them one day.

Everyone is talking about the "gas" but if the guy is using a good credit card and collecting points. He can literally pay for a vacation using his points or even use those points for diesel. I have the amex platinum card and believe me the points add up quick

Trucking suuuucks. I've been doing it for 7 years. You can't go back to anything else because it's the best thing you can do. Steer tires are expensive, sometimes you can get retreads for the rest which are a lot cheaper.

Yup is hard to find something that pays better so u get stuck driving because once u make that good money, u not gonna settle for less, that’s y u gotta invest ur money and get creative so u don’t drive for ever

Reyes i come from a trucking family, I got my cdl at 19 years old my brother convinced me to leave college and it was hard at the beginning with the experience it’s hard for anyone to let you drive their truck alone once you go over 21 it’s a lot easier but I can’t complain. The pay is like a professional career and I’m just a driver. It’s hard work long days but I can’t complain besides that. Anyone that really wants it can do it it’s all about determination!

Lol I’m a bus driver and truck drivers do make way more. The company I work for always hires truck and I ask them why did you become a bus driver if you can make so much more. They tell me the money is good but no health Benifits.

Check and see if your state will pay for the classes. There’s programs to help, some companies will pay for your classes if you commit to a year with them.

Well it all depends on what section of the trucking industry your trying to get in. There dry loads , reefer , there sand trucking , you can be a tanker , there a bunch of section of trucking . The one i am in is the reefer section. If you have no experience what so ever driving I recommend applying into a big trucking company like swift because they will hiring everyone. That way you can experience and see if you like the trucking business. Just keep in mind it really hard to get started because does big companies are going to overwork you guys and your probably wouldn’t make a lot of money at first. However if you stick around and save money and manage to buy your own truck and trailer and TAKE CARE of your truck and trailer your going to make a good amount of money . Also when your getting experience make connections and with other truckers that have there own truck so you can hopefully get to know there brokers and they can give you good loads . For example i take a load up north to california and they make any where between 800-1200 and from there i take a load to texas that pays anywhere between 5000-5600 and then i do a local in texas that pays 500 and the i take a load from Texas to California that pays anywhere from 2000-2500 . You can also find loads online . There a bunch of others things you need to look at for and do
