How Much are These Tractors Worth? Good used farm tractors for sale near me. Good used International tractors for sale near me. #farmallfanatic #farmall #antiquetractors
Enjoy the channel and the auctions keep it up...we had 2 farmall 504 diesels loved em cultivated and spread manure with them growing up...our line up was 2 1086’s an 806,706, an H a 400 and 2 M’s and a super A...love the red...
We have been windy for over a week here in Northern Arizona! Since the temps went up I don’t mind it a bit! 504 is 40.41 horsepower and 46.20 PTO HP! She’ll do more than folks think! Great tractors! That pull type disc would be awesome for the Cub! Especially when you go to your channels next phase of Farmall/International repairs LOL
The narrow front is nice and clean. Saw a video on RU-vid of a 504 pulling 3 bottom IH mounted plows no problems at all. What I like about the 504 is the front grille and tin work that reminds me of a smaller version of the 656. I will guess 3500 to 3800 got the narrow front and 2800 to 3000 for the utility. Let us know. Thanks for the video.
I have had my 504 since 2017. Love the tractor. Drives like a dream. Use it for everything on our small farm. Just picked up a 544 this spring and it will now be my " big tractor". The 504 will still get plenty of work. I paid $3200 for mine in Southwest Pennsylvania. The should go for around $4500. Great looking machine.
That's what I was saying... I bought my 544 for 1200 bucks... could have snatched up a 656 Gas last year 1500 bucks in Northeastern Wisconsin yet I see a 766 gas with loader being asked 13K makes no sense the prices in Wisconsin
I have the same 504 utility. That tractor just missing battery box and things. They both looked like they have TA. I have see a similar narrow front with loader for 3600. I would think they would both go higher than that. If I had the money I would buy the narrow front end. The tractor has been really good to me. They have their limits but really lug down and pull well. Its done everything I ask it to do. That is a great find. They would be a great addition to a lager tractor like you say. Sometimes you just need a little more horsepower. Hopefully the wind stops here soon. Thanks for sharing your find.
If that 504, row crop is as mechanically sound as it looks, I would pay $3,000.00 for it. It does need 2 sets of rear wheel wights. They are handy tractors for light duty work such as pulling self unloading wagons and up to 300 bushel gravity wagons. Also a trailer load of fire wood. On a very small hobby farm, you cut and rake hay. A 9ft, trailing mower would be just right for a 504. The utility model would work well for scraping a cement barn yard, and the farm's drive way. But the 404 utility would even be better for scraping work. But for loader work one would need front wheel assist.
made 61 to 68 12v system 46hp pto 153cid same bore and stroke as a H but running 2200rpm 7,7:1 compression ratio. this tracor replaced the 460 and used much less fuel. farmers that i talked with liked the 504 as an upgrade to a 300, 350 or 460. they were easier to get on and off of and handled better being shorter the drawback is these engines had no sleeves.so they had to be rebored at between 3500 and 5000 hours. i had a couple come into the shop at 3000 hours and only need new pistons rings bearings and valve grind. the owner had to keep clean dry air filters in them the 504 handled a 3-14 plow just fine or a 10ft disk .my guess this 504 might bring 2500 to 4500 if the crowd goes wild. if you want a 504 for your collection this is the one to buy.if it sells reasonable
It's a 12V system on a 504. They were all 12V out of the box. That's a very nice 504. The C-153 is the same bore and stroke as the H. But the engine is actually based on the A engine. They have no sleeves. Both are nice engines. Thanks for the subscription buddy!
I'm subscribed ff!!!! I'm not all that good at guessing about red but that farmall 504 would make a great hay tractor...sidebar rack small square baler!!!👍
I have the same disc with 4 concrete weights on each of those brackets and it works really well! In my area that nice of a Farmall would go for 3500 to up to 5000 depending on who is selling it. Now the utility would bring 2500 to 3500 closer to 3500 if the balde is included
First tractor I ever drove was my family’s 504D utility. I love that old tractor, pulled a three bottom 18” Oliver plow every year, in sandy loam soil and done a great job. Still own it now and also a 606D utility. As long as you have a good battery and the glow plugs are good, they work just fine. They probably go for about 4500.
One thing that really surprises me is that International never built a Farmall 606. The 606 was a replacement for the 460 Utility, but I am amazed, given the popularity of the Farmall 460, that they never built a direct replacement.
@Ty Frank I agree, I wish they had. I’ve always wondered why they didn’t. I guess they figured the farmall 504 and 706 was all they needed until the 656 came out.
That is a nice 504 with the narrow front. I would put it in the range of 5 - 6000. We actually have the same 504 in diesel. It is a great tractor for small jobs on the farm.
I am running a 504 D Hi Clear. been a good tractor. I have replaced several head gaskets, but keeps on ticking. The torque amplifier really makes this tractor.
When I came into the world, my grandfather’s farm my dad grew up on had a 504D utility (they called it a low boy) and a Super A. And that’s what they used on 170 acres in cultivation up until 76-77 when dad bought a 1586 and started renting a lot of land. The 504 finally “died” in the mid 80s when it broke a rod or cracked a piston or something and dad just never got it fixed. My dad had acquired a Ford 4000 (which was a bit stronger tractor) so repairing the 504 wasn’t a priority. It had gotten bogged down in the back of the feedlot and we left it sitting a while until it dried out enough to get something out there to pull it out. Hindsight we probably should have changed the oil after we got it out, but who knows if that would have prevented the damage. But it was the #1 tractor on their farm for more than a decade
pair of 504s i am impressed and those are a rare breed of IH but not as rare as a 606 .. They were about a 4500$ tractor new and mostly gas power is all i see but i do know a friend who has a diesel 504 which is a cool tractor so i bet the farmall would go for 3500 and the international loader version more in line to 5000.. 504 is a good collector tractor in my part of the country its easy to trailer and show
I’d give 3,500 to 4,500 for that Farmall 504. Looks to be in great shape. The pull type disk is like mine that came with my H. Mine is a 7ft. Good cutting disk. Especially after plowing. It was worn out by my grandfather. It works fine for making a garden however. Just wouldn’t want to do 40 acres with it like he did back in the day. I bid a couple hundred for the disk.
I love my international tractors I just found my late father's 454 hydro rear mount forklift with a variable front weight box after 40yrs . I also have 2 A554 s and a Aw6 loader. One 554 is a front forklift and with rear 3point linkage good all rounder
Don't know the value of the 504s but wouldnt mind having either or both of them but I do have a disc like the one you looked at and boy mine really does a great job busting up the ground. Have had others see it in action and commented how good of a job it does in plowed ground. Good to have one as a backup disc
The 504 is very equal to a SMTA. 46 PTO HP. Of course it is nicer that a SM. The frame allows for a front end weight bracket to be securely mounted on it. Also the 3 pt hitch is a big plus over the SM, because SM's did not have 3 pt hitch. The seat is mounted slightly in front of the rear axle, where as the SM, you road behind the rear axle. This results in a nicer ride. It was comparable to the JD 2010 and was in competition with the JD 2010. Personally I would buy the 594, over the 2010, because of the TA feature. I do like the front mounted fuel tanks that are on all 10 JD series tractors. In todays used tractor market, the Deere is the better buy because parts are more readily available than IH tractors. You got keep in mind that these tractors are 60 plus years old, and old equipment always needs to be repaired, unless you don use it for any real farm work.
4000 to 5000 if lucky unless somebody really wants one. When we was dealer in central Pa it wasn't the easiest tractor to sell. Around $3500 was the tops in real good shape.
Ive been around a few 504's, but never ran one. My neighbor has his original one he bought new with fast hitch plow. He also has 3 544"s which are the new version of the 504. He sure seems to like them for haying and his small chores. Baby 656.
The 544 is not a new version of the 504... the 544 is the baby brother of the 656... same transmission and Rear end.. different engine in the C200 and D236 than the 504 with the c153 or is it the c175..... I dont remember which
@@silverbarnfarms5640 no you are incorrect... the 544 is a 656 with a c200 gas engine in it... completely different rear half than a 504... yes the 504 was technically replaced by the 544 but it was a completely different animal...
Back in 1965 Dad traded a 560D for a new 706D and Grandpa said what do you want with that big tractor a 504 is big enough ! That 706 has 10,000 plus hours on it the 282 engine is going strong 💪
Last weekend I bought a International 404 gas, swept back, no hi-lo for $1275. Looks like its always kept in the shed. I think that price was way too low. My triple is 706D with 282, 404G, and international 140 utility
That rebuilt 504 hi crop rebuilt engine with 3 point will bring $4250- $5000. Nice tractor. The 504 utility as shown with bucket and blade will bring $3000- $3500.
It may sound funny but I lived on John deeres. All had the fenders. To sit on etc.when I got on the other brands it seemed strange not To have those big fenders.
Good day Yea 504 is really nice. But thinking back 152, Allis , D-15, 160 uc in, just don't have what 400 does, in my opinion . Yes dunham lehr loader , what I have on 574. But that 300 I saw 3 wks. ago for $2800, I would sooner have this one 504. Up here it could go $5000. With disc the faster you travel with them , smoother & finer the soil gets. A is too small for that disc, for 5 mph. Thanks My dad had trail disc for SW-6 neighbor borrow it , could not pull 8 ft with ferguson20-85.
Was goina say 3500 but its nice shape 4-4500 tops tho. Had one. Better get 4 hundred pound weights keep front end down 46hp. Had 250 busshel spreader with slop if didnt have weights couldnt steer
I don't know what a Farmall 504 is worth, haven't seen one sell ever. I do know that it has a c-153 for an engine just one more cubic inch than an H, but with a lot more RPMs. International always had a reason for giving tractors a designated number. A 504 means it is a tractor with 50 horsepower and a four cylinder engine, 756 ..75 horse with a six cylinder engine. And so on and so on.
It's a good thing that 3500 dollar farmall 504 isn't close to me because it'd be my 3500 dollar farmall 504 if it was. I wouldn't be surprised if it brought 4500 if the right guy was there.
Farmall probably worth $2500, but will go higher because of the tires and new engine job. say around $4000-$4500 International around a $4000 tractor with the loader, if back blade goes with it can add $1000.. They will probably be close to the same $5000 give or take.
Wild guess. $4,000 to $5,000. I bet the 504 would be a good little loader tractor. Low boy with a wide front end. Along with a 2010 John Deere would be great loader tractors. Manuverable, low to the ground. I'm leary of rebuilt engines. If the guy really knows what they're doing maybe.
First off you're going to need to get a new shed if you decide to get one of these I was never too fond of the 504 narrow front I would say the price 5500 for the utility I would say close to the same maybe six if it runs that good
There good tractors personally I don’t like the looks of them especially the row crop as the side panels are weird. If I were to buy a 5 series IH I would go with a 544 as it’s just a improved 504 but either one of them are good tractors
Ya well the Honda will never die. The Famall should sell for $3200. and International for about 3600. If you got two in the ring, well who knows..less than 5k. Some times there is a ringer, a roper, a shill and some times the they just make up bidders to get it rollen. But some num chuck just gets carried away, never know. Like stock car you just wait for the big One. Boom..
The farm I worked on as a kid had an IH 504 utility with the 2000 loader. I put a lot of hours on it picking up round bales. I felt it had plenty of power for its size. I could get 8 round bales on a bale rack and one on the loader and it would pull it in road gear.
Can't Beat those old tractors...when they knew how to do it right. Nothing on the market today is made as well....or will last as long. What happened to quality and simplicity?
504 is worth about 3000. And the loader be about 3780.... gas are not worth as much as some think.... 504 is a nice little tractor many guys for some reason so many red guys have unreasonable expectations.... they have a place just not what these unreal guys demand.... the 504 Utility is a great tractor.... great hydraulics and less horse than my 544 farmall..... even so many hate the 544.... it's not a big tractor either... I just paid 1200 for that one... maybe it's just I live in the heart of dairy country not worth more than 3 to 5 k for either one when 656 706 766 bring 5 to 8 depending on condition and Power plant
