I am glad you sold it for a profit! I commented on your original that holding it for a moment would produce results. The are used to be a complete wasteland. In the Greater Cleveland area, the inner city is becoming gentrified resulting in higher prices. The Inner Ring Suburbs are suffering more and more from blight. Kudos, once again!

well its good you got out of that... you were trying to find a loophole in your ira.. you should have just done it as a normal investment property and dealt with the taxes.. would have made more and had more freedom to sell quick. its a good life lesson don't listen to investment advise if it is based on loopholes because that loop is likely to end up around your neck.

You have more stuff on assets on the IRA. I don’t usually put much into retirement because it’s still 20 years before I can use it. But I would if it’s stuff I can hold onto for awhile.

Looking on street view. So many nice older homes in that area, just going to rot. You see them in good shape 10 years back and then a boarded up falling apart shell or gone altogether. Very sad.
