awesome video! you're convincing me to do this myself. I've only gone as far as replacing the valve cover. How was the surface on the block side? It didn't need to be resurfaced?
Hey Nu, i been following u for a while now. But havent respond back to any of ur video. I just got ask though, with the 2k range building up the top half. Would it be better just to swap the engine out for a 2uzfe or 1uzfe, Keeping it toyota. Im in the same boat, i got my LC80 8 yr ago with a knock, but i did the bearing from underneath do to the heavy engine. But after the bearing, it drive point A to B but its still have the knock on cold start. W gas in cali 6$ a gal, Thinking about yanking the 1fzfe engine out. Wats ur thought on the 1fzfe vs 2uzfe. Thanks for the good vid on LC80
hi, I dont have any experience with those two motors/ swap. so I couldn't give you what I think, I would say if you have the budget and knowledge to do the swap, Go for it! the 1fzfe, is expensive to build now and hard to find parts for. keep that in mind.
@@NuttyNu NP buddy, i been debating on yanking the 1fzfe out. but just thought i ask. n yeah these 1fzfe is pretty expensive in parts. 8 year ago i replace the rods bearing. 1 set oem rods bearing cost about 100 bucks, but its all good. 1 way find out is do it urself. bside i have 1 extra 1fzfe on the side too which not sure if gonna put that in or go 2uzfe. thanks for the straight answer. keep up w the good YT video on the 80's series. good chatting w u.
