Try Geico insurance, they seem to have the most competitive rates in my area. Kudos to you for dailying that FL5, I'd be too nervous leaving it in a parking lot for hours without someone trying to vandalize/steal something from it. I'm striving for a Boost Blue regular ol Sport hatch 6MT for a new daily lol.
What’s even worse is it’s being used as a daily so it’s going to get trashed… doesn’t matter how careful YOU might be the fact is it will get messed up by if not accidentally by you…it will be by others on the roads, parking lots, debris on the roads, Mother Nature etc etc… your waaay better off in the long run buying a base model for a daily and saving that extra $500-700 with a lower payment until you can afford to buy your weekender and then it will last and stay nice a lot longer… just what I have figured out the hard way with 30+ years of driving… but hey I was younger once 😎 and I don’t want to even think about how much money I blew always wanting to drive a “nice car” on the daily. 😂 also would have saved me alot of cussing and frustration on the weekends washing and waxing my babies only to find nicks and dings in the fresh paint or the new rims 😅
Shit, if I had a nice car. I'd be driving it everyday. Life's too short, I can die tomorrow and my nice car would be sitting in my garage and did not get enjoyed.
5k ADM, 3.6k on full front and 4 door PPF, 5.3k on 18x10 TEs wrapped in 265/35 pilot sport all-seasons, I don't want to think about the rest that's about to come.... 🥲
Nice video man, I own a Championship White FL5. Currently mine has been with the dealer since the beginning of April. Had a emissions system light come on at about 4000 miles, turns out the VTC actuator had to be replaced. (a part for variable valve timing) My dealer told me apparently this has been a rising issue with the FL5's and may become a recall. The part is on back order till the end of May sadly. So definitely keep a lookout on that bro, I'm for sure missing my FL5.
Hey man, quick question. So when you go through an outside credit union/bank not the actual dealership financing, how do you go about using knowing how much of a loan to get? like how do it work? Does the dealership tell you, ok you need X amount, then you tell the Bank ok i need a check for that X amount and you come back with that check? Sorry if this question doesn't make sense
Hey there, Your dealer should give you a sheet listing out your total out the door price when you agree to purchase. You can then use that at your bank/credit union of choice to get the loan. Hope that helps!
People don't understand lol that payment is good for that loan term. You want to finish as fast as you can. People should not be buying a car if they cannot afford it. Obviously you can. Also that insurance is very cheap you lucky. In California im 31 with a SI 2020 and i pay 250 no accidents or speeding tickets.
What's your car MSRP? In 2024, Honda increase the MSRP about 2K than 2023 model. Did the dealership no mark up and get very low interest rate on your car? That's impossible for one year ago. Because In 2023 all new and used car at the high price. Bank saving CDs almost 5% interest rate. I can't believed your information for Type R.
Where's your FL5 engine made? Japan or U.S.A ? I just bought a 2024 model blue color on my local dealer of California only mark up $500. But 2024 model MSRP is increase about $2K. I am very unhappy with that. 4.5K markup is still low on 2023's that moment. Interest rate 2.74%is rarely low on financial market. @@turbo_tin
Im sorry but honda with affordable sportscars are long gone. For a fwd car its fucking ridiculous price. I'd unless you a diehard honda fan (or a fwd car fan if that even exist) the elantra N/gr corolla fully loaded core is the better buy. They all the same performance on the track anyway. Golf R and wrx is also good buys.
Golf R is same price but I didn't like not having physical buttons for my HVAC. elantra N and GRC interior is inferior to the FL5 imo. I simply don't like how the WRX looks so I passed on that as well. Thanks for watching!
