As a music producer (and gymrat) I found this really relatable! I recently tried working a "normal" job full-time for 6 weeks and had no energy for music or the gym. I'm now back to music and recently hit over 100.000 monthly listeners on Spotify. It's time to work hard and stay CONSISTENT :) Best of luck Lee!
I only found your content in the last 3 months from your shorts. I’ve now even seen two other people copying your exact format, so you’re clearly doing all the right things! Loving your content
Haha thank you!! Ive seen some as well. It confused me at first because i didnt really pick up that it was the same format, but then i felt like i had seen it somewhere before 🤣
So proud of you my guy, seeing a fellow Asian-Canberran succeeding is insanely motivating. You've been the catalyst to my increase in training motivation and intensity, as well as a new found drive to get my nutrition in check. Once again, congrats on this milestone and here's to many more! ♥♥🔥🔥
im a flight attendant and im starting the whole fitness journey and the whole meal prepping thing is just overwhelming me a lot rn. and as always, its very inspiring how you're able to pursue what your passion through consistency and determination.
your honesty is refreshing asf. even being able to admit there is a desire for attention connected to being an influencer is more than most will admit to
Thank you!!! Way better long form coming!! This one was so hard to edit because i spent so much time trying to figure out how to make a Q&A interesting 😭😭
The fact that you willingly put out the answers to so much of what I’ve been asking other fitness RU-vidrs is not only dope but sincerely appreciated, brother. I was already 17 by the time you were born. Life takes us through many twists & turns, changing is in crazy ways. & YOU have got to be one of the most down to Earth people/RU-vidrs out there… Please don’t change that. Wish you all the best! 🤜🏽💥🤛🏽
I found your channel by complete coincidence just scrolling through shorts and fell in love with the humor and content instantly. I always smile or laugh whenever I watch your shorts and it also help motivate me to try and put on some weight since I’m skinny. Keep on that grind ❤️❤️❤️
I have tried 3 times to start faceless RU-vid channel and after the first videos I just find no interest in it. I’m a gym rat and look great but afraid to put my self out there to be commented on and all that stuff but I think you have to learn to manage that if you want to do what you love and get paid for it then this will come with the territory I guess🙏.
5:00 it's crazy that nowadays 100k subscribers is enough to make a living. I used to have a gaming channel with 25k subs in 2013 and barely made €300/month. CPM is disgustingly low. Even some friends with 300-400k subscribers we're struggling. Barely making €3000/month from RU-vid. Shorts has really made it easier to grow + make more money. I'm glad y'all have this opportunity now. Wish I had that back when I was young :)
@@xwftz Yeah, but a part still has to go to tax + housing takes at least 40% of your net income here. In the end, a normal 32-40h/week job would earn you the same or more. Whilst RU-vid took them 60h/week.
@@Rick020 That's true man!😮Well I did know that usual expenses in foreign countries is way more than what I used to,That's why I said that changing countries will help😉💰
Hey Lee! Congrats on 100k subs on YT! I think I randomly saw your reel on IG and I knew that your videos are my kind of humor. Being am Asian as well but was born in Singapore. Will Tennyson and you inspired me to change my eating and daily lifestyle and I told myself that 2022 was the year that I am going to change. I am 183cm, 26 years old male and my weight went down from 83kg, 24.9% BF (Jan 2022) to 72kg, 12.8% BF - 58kg lean mass (Mar 2023) using Dexa Scan, and couldn't be happier. My ideal body type is lean muscular and I have already achieved the body that I want. I watched a lot of RU-vid videos on how should I eat and train to build muscles and lose body fat. It required so much research on my own time and I am a working adult too. It was so mentally and physically draining to juggle fitness and career for me. I didn't want to pay for a gym membership as I would use the money to buy my own dumbells online and work out at home for convenience and time. I didn't want to hire a fitness instructor/consultant/dietitian because I would rather use the money for supplements/whey protein/ organic/healthy food instead as they are SO EXPENSIVE. I trained 6 days a week with one rest day and have been tracking my calories for the 6 days. The rest day is off-track where I eat whatever I want. Honestly, in order to succeed in this, the key is being consistent in terms of training and portion control (balance) for meal/food wise. Walking 10,000 steps daily helps so much and honestly, I enjoyed walking now. So ya, anyway, P.S. for the long post hahaha. I will continue to walk through the journey with you and can't wait to see more content from you since you are doing full time now! Many more milestones for you to accomplish pal! :)
Ayee proud of you for being able to do it all yourself man! That’s honestly very impressive you were able to reach your physique goals all by yourself! I appreciate the comment man! Keep it up 🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼
So happy for your success and more… as an asian I have never really seen a bodybuilder dieting on asian homemade/mom/our food. Really a refreshing sight!
My favourite content creator!! Relatable, down to earth, funny, honest, quality content (Asian Australian as a bonus!!)…. Truly carving your unique space in the content world that I am sure many people will enjoy and get lots out of! Only upwards and onwards now!!
I like watching your content the same way you described liking doobydobap and others. It’s the style, the humor and clean presentation that set you apart from others in my opinion. (Also because I’m a 1m70 asian dude that stopped growing taller so growing wider is the way to go) The videos come across as very natural and honest. A person like you would definitely be loved in my friend group :) Thank you for your content and for inspiring people to pursue doing what they really like!
You really are a breath of fresh air to this type of content, thank you for being so humble and enjoyable to follow. Wish you all the greatness and success!
Gotta be honest.. i started my yt channel after seeing yours.. currently not posting cause im cutting after a 7month bulk.. but ill get there .. and one day hopefully i could see you at the top as well😊
i like how youre different from about 70% of fitness influencers out there, you dont come out as an aggressive type of meathead heck all your videos are unhinged and really super entertaining while still looking awesome.
Just stumbled across your content recently. Been struggling with calorie counting and beating myself up, but hearing your comments about having a healthy relationship with food (instead of just smacking me upside the head with "don't *yt money* eat that" is so awesome. Can't wait to see your channel grow!
Just got suggested to this channel. There is a lot I have learned from you. This will help me by spring of 2023, to reach my level 2 body. Pays off to keep an open mind and go with techniques that will be useful in the future.
Honestly this video is really inspiring! Shows us that it's never too late to start! Thank you for this video, definitely motivating to start creating content!
Idk what it is with you. But you are so different then anyone else because you are so real and genuine. I absolutely enjoy your content because you keep it so real. You a g for that. Lee Lem the goat!
I only learned about your channel through yet shorts and honestly assumed you were a party boy, but we have a lot in common including alcohol consumption. I’m looking forward to the rest of your content creation journey ✌️
This video was epic dude! Just found your channel and you've got a new subscriber. I've just gone full-time as a creator, mainly thanks to brand deals through IG + short form, but keen to join you in the 100k club on YT soon. Keep rocking it man.
I don't know how I missed this but I'm pretty sure that you will get very big (in multiple ways)😳😳 your videos are well made and your personality is nice, you just give off that big creator vibe
Been watching you for ages man and I realised I hadn't subscribed and I've just seen this. Didn't realise you were so new in the scene I can't wait to see where you go from here
And thats why he's the GOAT. I've not seen such as genuine Q&A on youtube for years. Please keep making this type of content because it was soo entertaining and fun to watch and i was truly paying attention unlike other videos where my attention span would be so short. Keep the vids comming and congrats on all the success
I’ve been watching your shorts and videos for months now and I just realised I’m not subscribed?! My bad man, hopefully we get you to 200k soon!!! Stay blessed 🦵🏼
I love to give it 100 percent, but only for something I'm passionate about, so I completely feel ya there. Congrats on being able to do content creation full-time! Can't wait to see where the channel goes from here, as well as what ideas you have up your, uh... underwear!
this video is everything i was hoping for and more, it was cool to hear about the yt stuff in an in-depth and honest way, but it was cooler just to hear more about you man
Honestly, you're my biggest motivation to why I want to start making content. Hopefully one day.. In the very far future... I'll be big enough to do a collab with you. Congrats on the 100k Followers, well earned and deserved!
Algorithm And i wish this yt channel grows much more Honestly I can't say something about someone's personality But I trust this person at least as a wholesome fitness content creator with accurate info And I think that is a big enough reason to support jacked sus Asian
At the end of the day, you'll be getting that passive income as your channel grows, so I wouldn't even worry about not making as much early on. New subscriber, love the content!
