I have found that I can be much more lenient with my protein consumption as opposed to my carbohydrate intake. In other words increasing my protein, even to what I often deem as “too much protein” has generally been a non issue in my personal experience.
You're back! I've been waiting for a looooong time. I got so worried but thank you for this video. As usual a lot of learnings. Please try to post more videos regularly like once a week even if it's just short ones on what you typically eat and meal prep. Thank you again and happy holidays!
thanks for putting a smile on my face :-) 2018 is going to be awesome, I'll have way more time to dedicate to the channel and will do my best to help all of you! I'm planning to do at least one video/week (maybe two) and some Q&A live-streams from time to time.
Great explanation! Easy way to work out the amount of protein you need per day. Happy New Year. Can’t wait to see this years videos and live feeds. Thanks
I just now started keto and I was wondering about this very topic. This video was very informative and helpful. If you have any tips for sticking to keto I would appreciate a comment or a video discussing it
Are you already watching Dr Eric Berg here on RU-vid? If not then I highly recommend his channel. That’s where I’ve learned so much about keto and fasting. Good luck!
Since i am lifting weights, i eat 1.0g per bodyweight, so 150g per day. Sometimes less fat. With pea protien shake after workout. What are your cholesterol levels? Mine were verry high since eating more fat, have been keto over a month
I don’t know how you get THAT much protein per day!!! That’s a lot!! How do you get over 100 g of protein per day? And better yet: how do you get it without going over on your daily fat intake??
Great video and very informative as usual, thanks. Happy holidays to you and your family as well! I've never worried about the amount of protein that I eat on keto. I just watch my carbs. I'm still a bit overweight but losing steadily, and I'm in a wheelchair so mostly sedentary. On average I eat from 90 to 150 g of protein a day. I tried the lower protein at first, but I found that it left me hungry even with more fats. I decided to just eat enough protein to feel satisfied and log it. My ketones are pretty constant at around 1.5 mmol. Everyone's body is a little different, and I think we all have to absorb the information that is floating around about the keto woe, and then figure out (mostly through trial and error) what works for us.
