I’m working on my snatch at the moment, so I’ve added in a couple of sets of snatch grip behind the neck push press, plus an overhead squat @ 100-120% - just as a confidence builder. I won’t add anything more than that, then! Noted.
I have no problems with the bottom of the snatch and have a large snatch push press (20% over snatch) but whenever I do a snatch balance (5-10% lower than my snatch) or snatch + OHS complex, I really struggle with the overhead squats. Somehow I really suck at that movement, but my snatch is fine.
I was thinking of buying some of yer powerlifting programs have ye talked about it anywhere? Not much info on the site. Should you run the blocks in succession to peak for a meet? How many days per week? Should you deload between blocks? Are deloads programmed? Also more shite talk podcasts please.
