Really loving the weight videos!!! I have 3 packs I use at work and they have handled everything I have put them through, rainstorms, drug around in the forest and even dropped out of MRAP. Very strong and well built!!!

You have to consider the added stress of load shifting and hiking movement while packing a heavy load too. What are the momentary loads on those buckles vs the static load of this test. With say 150#.

This is one of many reason why I choose eberlestock!

Pretty much satisfied with my investment on these gears. I really do hope you guys make more packs for mountaineering. Here in South Korea, carrying a weapon or a big sack of meat is really not an option but we do go a lot of hiking, trekking, backpacking and so on..I know your main customers are hunters and military personnel but there are people who love durable gears for bushcrafting, weekend camping, bugging out, etc.. I put my 4 yo on this multiple times when he gives up using his legs - hiking :) he is only like 40 lb so I guess I made the right decision

30 seconds into the test and it's already more weight then 90% of users will ever even attempt to carry. Weak point is going to be the buckles and clips since they're plastic but with the bulk they have I don't think they'll give before your back, knees, and soul

Doesn't surprise me at all that the F1 held that kind of weight. That mannequin, though!

Only thing which is keeping me away to buy this is 150$ shipping.....🤔

I know they build it this way for strength, but why not experiment with lighter materials? No one is going to carry that much weight out on their back so might as well see if you can make an even more efficient lightweight setup. He calls this frame lightweight but it weighs 4 lbs. While that is very light for it's capability, I'm willing to bet they could make something half that weight that can still carry 200-300 lbs which again no one is going to carry out by themselves

If you could get the frame down to 1-2# and carry up to 120# I'd be sold.
