That confirms my suspicion that all electronics run on smoke and not electricity. When the smoke comes out, the device stops working. Seriously though, that confirms my thoughts that one shouldn't run any inverter on anything more than 75%. (Why do they specify a max if it is not really practical?) Thanks again for your videos!

True Martin! They are printing money without offering warranty or support. People will buy them and inevitably overload it and it's rendered useless.

That is a fongkong inverter. The mosfets are most likely popped. If smoke came out you should see physical damage to one or two of them. They are the 3 legged devices mounted along the sides of the box. Open it up, check the values written on them and replace them all. Not a difficult task. Communica in pta should have spares. RS components as well. Those little inverters do not like the pulsing power draw of an amplifier. Especially if you push the base up
