They also aired pretty much uncensored versions of fusion reborn on Nicktoons, I remember being shocked at hearing them say “hell” and seeing mostly unedited blood

@@deliwtz if I remember correctly, they aired the z movies completely uncensored, I remember getting shocked seeing the blood when Janemba cut Goku’s shoulder in fusion reborn. Plus Hitler was still in the movie

It's strange that they even still have archives of it... I don't know how they would get these episodes considering it only aired once over 14-12 years ago. Maybe FUNimation or TOEI lost certain uncut episodes even though everything airing on Toonami Rewind is uncut? Strange.

Hulu is very odd at times. But that's what home media is for on occasion that streaming services have glitches , inaccuracies and stuff 😅😅😅

True dude, sometimes I like dialogue change that does this better.

Not always, at times it's pretty awkward especially when they have to go to ridiculous lengths to not mention "death", but the censored lines can be pretty good at times, the uncut version definetly overused swearing, especially "damn", probably to get an age rating that would allow them to make the censorshipless version in the first place and air it on adult swim.

I like the Japanese names. But yeah, you may as well have him say "Fist of the Sun" instead of Taiyo-Ken.

By that logic, would you rather have the Kamehameha be replaced with a more localized name, too?

@@komarunaegi7460 no, because the literal translation is “Kamehameha Wave”, unless you genuinely thought that “Kamehameha” actually translated to something in Japanese. It’s the name of a cultural Hawaiian king, Toriyama just wanted to make sure it had a “Kame” prefix for the turtle hermit. “Turtle destruction wave” is an example of a fair translation rather than a literal one. The actual most literal translation you can derive from the writing of the word is “Kamehame Wave”

Edits like that are so unnecessary. It's almost like they had to reach a quota of edits.
