No one gonna mention .2-.3 bac is insanely high, especially since the legal limit is .08 in the U.S.? Like .3 bac is hospital needs to pump your stomach so you don't die level.
@@fireflyfiadh by that error where Mrs Goldberg suddenly becamed fluent in polish I'm going to presume it's a polish game where BAC is measured in prmils, not percentages so by US standards it's 0.02-0.03 US BAC
I've heard about 2 incidents where one aileron has detached in flight, in both cases it didn't cause any control issues at all, both landed with no further damage. One was an Edge 540 and the other was a Cirrus.
Tom still screwed up. You never use parts that aren’t certified for that aircraft. I would have never installed those screws period, if he wants his plane back sooner then he can install the screws himself
17:19 I'm Polish so let me translate: I've wanted to leave him long ago, but he didn't want to give me a divorce. This would be too embarrasing for him. Why didn't I fly up in a plane? I took the car and whilst traveling I visited a lawyer, for to leave the divorce case after all this. You can check that. Are you suggesting that I caused the accident? What a disgrace....
@@apexinstinct Radial or rotary (where the engine case and cylinders spin with the propeller with the crankshaft fixed to the aircraft instead of the other way around). Also popular in WWI were V and (true) inline configurations. V, H, X, etc. were popular in WWII and later.
Hey uh Nodak I would just like to tell you that the second time you called Ms Goldberg she was speaking polish. Plus being Polish myself I was able to clearly understand what she was saying and it was the same as the first call but I guess it must've been a glitch because Goldberg is not a polish name
ngl. i didn't know booze effects you more at altitude. however, even i know never exceed the airframe. though I'd also somehow make a cesna supersonic.
I don’t buy the game’s explanation as to the cause of the accident. A single detached aileron would not be sufficient to cause an airplane to just lose control and crash like this. Your analysis of the propeller was spot on. A spinning propeller would show a telltale S-shape deformation along with damage to the leading edge of the blades post-impact. The one shown in the game was simply bent backwards suggesting that it wasn’t spinning at the time of impact.
17:15 Why is this one text displayed once in English and once in Polish? xD But other than that, the game looks promising. A bit like a car mechanic, but about plane crashes.
.2 to .3 in actually a very high blood alchohol level for reference the legal limit in America is like .08 so .2 or .3 is very drunk and 100% not safe to fly
Just for information, the registration number is a D-O... , the O stands for Hot air balloons in germany, so clearly it was a drunk pilot who thought it was an airplane but in reality it was a hot air balloon and we all are getting tricked here xD for anyone who wanna know, single engine aircraft under two tons always have a D-E... in germany
9:15 that's definitely not a US number... Also a German flag on a short range aircraft in the US? I love that Nodak themselves are also pointing out these glaring issues, which makes the video a lot more funny.
Well, in the same way as you can find other European short-haul planes in the US and runner-up. Most often, the owner of the machine hires a chad pilot who, for a fee, makes a series of flights, probably through the UK and Greenland, or a similar route, so that the machine can reach another continent on its own without disassembling. I know that several machines from Poland with SP-xxx registrations returned to the country from the USA in this way. At least from what I remember.
Its a german number, and the funny thing about it is that D-O..., the O stands for hot air balloons. Single engine aircraft under two tons should have a D-E...
As a former aircraft mechanic. "If I say this plane is not flying, it will not fly. Either you use a different plane or we'll wait for that fucking aileron bolt!"
Didn't the maintenance log mention the was installed during 2019? Even though the crash happened in that month, the installation was years before that?
In reality, you send use a plane, vans, or a ground team to find the distress beacon, then the ground team goes to the crash site and preforms first aid if they can while EMS is en-route. The FAA and the local police do their investigation. Its not 1 guy with a drone 😂 also, the cresh site is usually spread in an area about a mile wide and 3 miles long. Fun fact, beechcraft bonanzas are nicknamed "doctor killers" and a lot of ground teams have a pool for when a bonanza goes down for weather or not it was a doctor who didnt know what they were doing and just bought a V tail bonanza bc they thought it looked cool.
not a legal expert but it is kind of sketchy an air plane crash investigator is just calling witnesses or persons of interest on their phone. not that it means that evidence would be inadmissible or that it is, but i am by no means enough of a legal expert to make that call. i guess its a limitation of the game but i guess it'd be more realistic if you would call like the interrogators or whatever police and then the police give you some full report.
I'm not sure about other countries but in the US the NTSB has legal authority to interview witnesses related to plane crashes. They would most likely be with local PD you are right about that but they themselves doing the talking is perfectly reasonable. I believe thier findings are admissible in court if the case is like this one where negligence or willing sabatoge caused the crash, and I know for sure they have the power to impliment safety suggestions but they have no actual power to enforce them.
@@KomradeDoge the NTSB performs and investigation into the root causes of the crash for the purpose of making recommendations on how to prevent it in the future. Cases of negligence or foul play would go through law enforcement. The NTSB may be used as expert witnesses in the criminal investigation and in court, but the NTSB does not have the authority to prosecute individuals or organizations.
Conclusion: Mr. Goldberg browbeat and threatened his aircraft mechanic, who did a rush job, exactly as he was told. Goldberg, karma's a b!tch isn't it?
I don't know much about planes, but I don't think losing an aileron would cause you to lose control of the aircraft. It anything it would limit your ability to roll, and you might naturally roll in the direction of the lost aileron. For this case though, the pilot was under the influence of alcohol, so he was flying low and slow. Maybe the aileron popped off because he was constantly trying to keep the plane level. When it did, the pilot must have panicked and crashed the plane.
She just repeated what she said before here’s the translation I wanted to leave him for a long time but he did not want to divorce me, it would be too much of a shame for him why I do not fly up by plane that day I take a car and visit a lawyer on the way to settle a divorce case after all, you can check if you suggest that it is me I led to an accident, what an absurdity
So uh, why do you have to find the plane crash? It should be marked down somewhere, since people obviously know where it (Mainly due to the fact that its knowledge the pilot didnt survive) also, how'd he even die from that crash, looked very survivable to me. Maybe heart attack post-crash?
Since it was established that he was a very angry man with anger management issues, my theory is that when he got out of the plane (alive) he was so angry that he lost his plane that he proceeded to beat himself to death.
13:30 The NTSB has been privatized. You are a lowest bid local crash investigator.....On a dark note if that were the case at least you would show up. NTSB has not been doing that for a lot of GA.
That is not very true... I've owned 19 cars and only three have had an inline engine. Everything else has been a V6 or V8. Unfortunately, my Jeep has a V6 instead of an inline 6 :( The inline 6 Jeeps have a much better sound IMO.
LOL.... this game must be made by russians or people under 21 or something . i blew a 0.28 and i was NOT ok....... ("just" an MIP....even had a sober driver taking us home.... got busted at the party spot) i think they mean 0.02 or 0.03
