Forest didn't implement a low block people keep saying this but the heat map proves it wasn't a low block at all. Nuno exposed the flanks and brought on CHO and Elanga with fresh legs at the right time to take advantage of that open space.

Aina handled Diaz. Moreno handled Salah. Center half’s took care of set pieces. That was about it. We were absolutely on: Liverpool weren’t. Great analysis. Thanks.

Liverpool fan here. Slots game management was just off. Salah should’ve been subbed off, he had an awful showing (it happens). Nuñez should’ve either started or have never been subbed on since he’s insecure and tried to do a couple of selfish plays so that he can begin starting again. Finally, the moving of Trent into the midfield while putting Bradley in the right back position is an interesting experiment, it should have only been done when we’re up against a weaker opponent and the game has already been won. In this case however, that specific movement backfired spectacularly. Trent was lost in his new position and made some very poor short passes. His specialty is switches of play and long balls, things you cannot do if you are central or not high up the pitch. I think this should be leveled on Slot for not understanding the dynamics of both the players and the team, but also on the players and the team itself because we seemed cocky, as if we won the game before it already started. You’re only as good as the effort you put into it. This is the premier league and even the weakest opposition can punish you for complacency.

L'pool made the same mistake Man U did with their full backs pushing too high up when things are not stable yet. There was too much space on the 2 wings which the 2 fast Nottingham wingers capitalized on. Elanga had a chance to make it 2 -0 if he had a better finish.

Nothing to do with Liverpool being complacent & everything to do with Forest being the better team on the day with superior tactics & game management. Liverpool didn't stumble, Forest ragdolled them. Stop pretending like Liverpool threw this away instead of Forest beating them up & taking it from them. Forest made it look easy in the 2nd half.

If Diaz's shot goes in, the headlines woulda all changed. Watching the game, it didn't come across like Liverpool didn't get chances. They just weren't clinical and sharp that's all.

While I think you're right about the shot, I think you've got to give Forest credit, they limited space and they stopped major chances from being created. Liverpool were limited to lower quality opportunities and they couldn't handle the attacking threat when Forest made changes. Thanks for watching mate!

Liverpool didn't have a good day at all, BUT I think you need to give Forest credit for that. They stopped Salah from really playing, isolating him, winning duels against him, this happened across the pitch and was down to the good performance of Forest who were then able to exploit the space that I mentioned in the video. Sometimes it's okay to give the opposition credit for performing on the day as well as criticizing the side that didn't play as well as they should have. Thanks for watching!

While I think they could have been better, you've got to look at why they were bad and I think a lot of that is down to how Forest defended against them. The opposition needs to be given credit as well, thanks for watching mate!

get behind the ball, deny space and maximise the return from the few opportunities to shoot at goal. basically how many teams play away from home. Liverpool were poor. I don't really think this approach is worthy of a video.

While the concept might be familiar, I think it's impressive that Forest were able to implement it with such efficiency. Yes Liverpool were poor, but I think at least part of that is because of how good Forest were and how they stopped Liverpool from playing, I also wanted to discuss the mechanic of Robertson's runs and Trent moving into midfield which are decisions that I feel Slot was pushed to make because of the good Forest game plan. A lot has been made of the great start Liverpool have made under Slot and this is the first bump they have had, thought it was noteworthy. Thanks for watching all the same mate.

its because of THEY ARE TIRED TO DO THE THINGS they usually do, they just came back from international matches, 1 week 2 matches, Forest players mostly didnt go international matches, and Slot substitute players still not rising their games, thats what Slot must aware of those problems

Many of the Forest squad had been on international duty. Wood having to fly back from New Zealand. Forest frustrated the Liverpool players and they way they wanted to play, which made them lose heart and look leggy.

All because Forest stopped it. We took away evrery pass, occupied all the space, never broke concentration. It was a classic away performance. Give credit where it's due

I feel like a lot of this was down to how good Forest were, no? The taking away of space, the closing down of the lines, the one v one duels. For me, Forest forced Liverpool into those mistakes a lot of the time and I feel like they need to be given credit for that. Thanks for watching mate!

I'm not sure about 4 but they did create chances, that being said I wouldn't necessarily say they were good chances, this is down to how Forest played and stopped the space between the lines. I thought Forest did a very good job of stopping Slots progression through the pitch which is why he must have felt he needed to move Trent and continuously have Robertson move forwards into that channel I mentioned. While Liverpool didn't have a great day I think Forest deserve a lot of credit for what they managed to do. Thanks for watching mate!

Slot came across as a cry baby post interview he underestimated forest and refused to credit them much at all if he thinks that was low block then his days are numbered. Nuno won the tactical battle hands down and is my opinion a better coach
