Father's Day was a lot of fun, my boys and my husband were tired because they did work at the church for four hours. But I'm very thankful that my daughters Izzy and Hailey helped me put the dinner together so when the boys came home we are able to get it on the grill we had the salads already done and the dessert.
My husband works so hard and I just wanted to make a nice day for him and I think he really did enjoy the dinner, the steaks turned out amazing and we had so much fun playing cornhole. He's never really been one for presents. He loves to give our family presents, but just us being with him playing beside him and working with him as a family is really all he ever wants for presents. It's so hard to buy them things because he really doesn't want anything but he was so sweet though to be excited about the presents that we did get him.
We have been go go go go for a couple months with traveling, birthdays, holidays, helping to get the church going, and the farm work also. So I know that he probably would just love to sit in this chair and relax, but he was just so kind to let us celebrate him and spoil him for at least one day out of the year. And he absolutely love the fact that the boys matched his shirts he thought that was hilarious. And I think he actually did get a little choked up when the third boy came in with the same shirt. It will really was a cool surprise.
