Before the internet, colleges made sense since knowledge could be shared and collected in one physical place - not knowing a certain job and its requirements existed made sense then But now colleges havent caught up with the modern - if they actually got you hands on experience in the job, and got you the needed skills and requirements they would actually be worth it (maybe) Regardless of the color of collar, theory AND experience are necessary, all they give now is theory
They need to pass laws that if your education becomes obsolete, by way of the Industry standards for the career field you are entering within 1 year after graduation, colleges should give you back at least 50% of the aid back towards the student loan debt. It's ridiculous, that for the first three years of your educational life, you take courses that mostly have zero to do with your major.......what a waste.
I'm just glad my GI Bill Benefits pay for college tuition and I get income just to go to school. Easiest money in my life. On top of that Seth's Course has been helping me gain real marketing experience. Honestly, if I didn't have my benefits I would completely forget college and focus solely on digital marketing.
