Thank you so much for sharing. Its been 6 months since finding Dare. I am 37amd have had anxiety since I was 8 due to abuse. I was later diagnosed with GAD and panic disorder. It is a daily struggle. The physical symptoms of nausea and digestive issues and fear I will go crazy are my biggest struggles.I work in mental health as a nurse and am thankful I can genuinely empathise and care for others. I have not yet found my rythym with Dare but absolutely beleive I will. It is the best thing I have seen amongst all the interventions for anxiety so far. I am so thankful for DARE. Barry's audios are incredibly helpful so thank you Barry.

@@patricktouhey5387 Are you available to talk offline Patrick? I realize it's a lot to ask but I have so many questions for you.

@@patricktouhey5387This conversation was pivotal in understanding DARE and properly understanding my anxiety and how it’s impacted my life for over a decade. Thank you and please get this out to as many people as possible, this one conversation is the most helpful material I have ever found on anxiety disorders

I listened to this one early on when I found DARE because it’s #01 but for whatever reason it didn’t resonate with me then. After a couple of months of familiarizing myself with DARE and what my anxiety really is and understanding my symptoms, I can say without hesitation that this is the most important conversation/material that the company has to offer. I’ll be revisiting this video for years I’m sure, thanks to Patrick and thanks Michelle and Aida.

The content of the podcast is wonderful and very helpful for many of us, I would like it if they could release a version in Spanish for all those people who do not understand English and it can be easier for them to understand this topic 😄

So how do you "practice" and go out and live your life and do what you have to do or would like to do if your anxiety/panic attacks trigger IBS-D attacks of diarrhea and vomiting where you're practically chained to a toilet for a while OR you have to be near one at all times just in case?

Practice is not doing anything about it aka not fighting your feelings, by the way you described having ti be near a toilet at all times that tells me you're fighting it, if you have an actual condition then sure be aware of the possibility that oh okay I need to use the restroom, but don't fight your symptoms/ feelings, I went through something similar except I would fear not being in control etc but if you allow and accept then life becomes much easier trust me.

I have the DARE app and i am a member. I unfortunately missed the Daily Dare about Blow Back Anxiety on the 7th August 2022. I would really like to listen to it but i can't find it on the app any more. Is there any way i can listen to it please?

This was great, I'd love to talk more with Patrick about his experience because I related so much with his story. Is this possible?
