I popped in for a few of these streams and it was always fun even if I was lurking in chat One of my favorite moments was Lyra replicating alternate speech over and over again, that's such an ability and I'd be lying if I said I didn't get spooked lmao
I don’t know how much lore from the original evergreen will keep, but for those who don’t know. In the original popgoes a girl named Bonnie was the daughter of the victim of the bite of 87. In popgoes the act was committed by toy Bonnie. The girl put on a toy Bonnie mask and showed her father. In some sort of PTSD moment he killed her with an axe. He chopped her into six pieces, hence why you have to gather her parts.
I read the wiki page so im not sure if its true or not but apparently Bonnie purposefully put on the mask to get killed since she was a fan of ghosts and wanted to become one.
Pastra: talks about how the game is cool and there is a dead child in cabinet Also Pastra: M O R S E T H E M O L E Edit: Thank you all for 340 likes! You have all made my day :)
While playing Popgoes Arcade, it's really easy to forget how you're actually playing as someone else playing the arcade, so when Bonnie's hand breaks through the glass it's quite an effective "jumpscare" and even better since it's not an earrape like the regular FNAF games.
I'm glad you're expanding into live streaming and that you're enjoying making content, not just for FNAF but for all your videos. You can tell by the high quality. Thanks for your positivity in the fandom, your PHENOMENAL art (do you take commissions? I know you're busy but if you do...), and for everything. And happy 190K subs! I've been here since before 10K and it's lovely to watch your channel grow. Have a good one! ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜👩🏾🎤
When you found the axe in the well, the way the music stopped and a second later you uttered the most genuine "what the fuck" i have ever heard in my life was absolutely perfect. And you had the exact same genuine reaction when you phased through the wall in the castle. That shit legitimately made me shiver.
Hell yeah my favorite creepy pastra boy, loving the content!! I love hearing positive critics and hearing you gush about horror media is so refreshing, plus your voice is super soothing to listen to, never change man!!
I gotta say, I missed your stream for The Machinist to play it for myself, but I've gotta say, I'm glad I made that decision. Seeing a literal DEAD BODY in this game was a shock, as FNAF is usually seen as a tame horror franchise, so I have to say, Popgoes Arcade was a great game.
Alas this is a popgoes promotion In all seriousness I’ve been in love with this game as well. It always puts a smile on my face to hear your take on things and to hear you excitedly gush about what you’re passionate about. Thank you for creating such a positive place and community :)
out of curiosity, do you have an opinion on the youtube series/creator boisvert? i've found the story to be quite compelling, though thats probably just because i go back and rewatch it once a month lol. im pretty sure thats the only way you CAN pick out the story given the nature of the series and even if you decide not to talk about it, i think you might like it or find it interesting
This has nothing to do with the video but all of your thumbnails and art that you make for each upload are utterly bonechilling and amazingly well crafted, keep up the great work.
This game seems pretty interesting! I didn’t really stay for the stream cause I’m not really into rpg let’s plays but this video made me want to play it myself. Also ITS MORSE THE MOLE
“ITS MORSE THE MOLE” jump scared me even more than the black rabbit coming out of the machine regardless, amazing video!! i recently found your channel through the walten files episode video and i highly enjoy it!!!
This is easily one of my favorite channels right now, just wanted to let you know. The chill vibes and nice analysis of cool horror games I didn't know about before, paired with your dope character and distinct art style, make it really distinct to me among the other similar channels. Also, if you're reading this yourself Pastra, I suggest you keep an eye on the game The Keeper if you aren't already. It's another indie horror game about a lighthouse keeper, and from what I've seen of the demo it's really caught my eye ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-v_LsFzKT2pU.html
Ngl, this was the best stream in your channel so far! I loved how you and Lyra both had good times playing this, I love how you two cooperated, especially Lyra Legit turning into shadow the hedgehog. Overall, spooky stream! Nice job :)
I saw your streams on this game on I remember thinking "oh this is pretty cool" but didn't think much of it until you did the whole black rabbit thing, I wasn't very knowledgeable on Popgoes lore at that time (and still don't know everything) but now, Popgoes is definitely my favourite FNaF fangame series and I can't wait for Evergreen
I was there for the streams and it was so fun. And I ended up buying the game afterwards. I love how the game subverts your expectations and becomes a lot more than you think it would be at first because of the simplicity. Also, the part when Bonnie breaks the cabinet is so cool
I remember being in both of the streams. My favorite moment from the first one had to be slaygoes/fruity popgoes. And I loved your reaction to the black rabbit jumpscare. Also, your machinist voice is amazing and I love it
I enjoyed seeing your freak out, I didn't watch the streams when you were streaming but on RU-vid, also I'm pretty sure I'm the only one who noticed this Pastra is Orange, Lyra is Purple and Kane is Green, the three secondary colors (well until Lyra's Popgoes skins) also the brief appearance of GoMotion appearing who is Red, like they were one of the bases to make either Pastra or Lyra. Did I just create unneeded Lore?
I loved this play through! I’m happy you made this video and I’m excited for whatever you make next! As you usually say at the end of your videos but forgot due to a certain mole, “Goodbye for now!”
One detail I loved about this game was how you see the actual arcade machine when playing the game. Not only does it serve as a unique visual style, but the true first person perspective kind of put me back in the simulations of FNAF, making me actually predict that there was going to be a jumpscare hidden somewhere in this game. I knew it wouldn't be obvious because it wasn't advertised as a horror game, but something told me that playing with this perspective of actually being a human playing an arcade machine just had me side eyeing everything the entire time. Then I saw the Bonnie battle and the following scene, and I was literally screaming "I KNEW IT I KNEW IT"
"what originally seemed like a goofy little adventure slowly transforming into something far deeper and more complee than i ever could have imagened" literally discribed omori right there also pastra if you read this comment play omori please i beg you
Yo was that Morse the mole from hit retro RPG Popgoes Arcade, available on steam for only $4.99 including the Machinist expansion, achievements, and steam trading cards?
When I looked at the steam page for popgoes I wrote it off as an everyday turn-based rpg,but watching your video proved my assumption wrong so I got the game and had a great time. Thanks!
ITS MORSE THE MOLE was the only moment I was there for and I was well. Surprised. Hearing a funny pasta man scream ITS MORSE THE MOLE was so fucking hilarious.
I love the pose you had for Clyde just before you mentioned Morse the Mole for the first time. Just all blown out and very low quality compared to his normal shots to really emphasize the cartoonish nature he already has. Very nice. c:
I just want to say your videos are always amazing and the art always freaks me out in a good way and is always so creative and im always amazed by how much effort and love is put into these videos i dont get why you dont have a milion subscribers cuz you deserve it
im gonna be honest, this comment wont br seen, but i need to say i seriously love your content and all the effort you put into it man ive been watching for a little and somehow only now found out about lankmanns game, and i need to say it was AMAZING and on top of that you make videos with absolutely stellar art and perfect quality by far my favorite content creator right now big man >:]
So glad to see this! After watching your streams and playing through the game myself, POPGOES Arcade has become one of my favorite games, and I’m so excited to see more content of it in my feed! (Morse is also my favorite, very glad to see him get some appreciation at the end as well lol)
One thing I noticed is that the mangle boss fight tells us what’s has happened and what’s gonna happen to Bonnie/blackrabbit Flesh and fur (…what do you want it’s flesh just no fur) Then bare bones (being trapped in the arcade game) Now a cloud of thoughts piloting a dead machine (blackrabbit if she’s fully assembled ) I took that as we as a player would have to defeat Blackrabbit with them being scared as they fall apart and fade into the aether While sure assuming it’s like the original popgoes blackrabbit is only gonna be assembled in the bad ending but who knows the only lore so far is Bonnie’s story before the game With my popgoes full release maybe having more (or maybe just another false animatronic teaser ) Still wondering the heck’s with with them
Found a FNAF fangame I think you’ll like. Have you played Five Nights at Candy’s 3? It’s a cool FNAF fan creation that adds a LOT of other cool types of gameplay! And don’t get me STARTED on the nights where- *We’ll let you find out for yourself.*
You gotta get a more diverse roster of dictionary words and improve your wording, clicking button that does big damage is not satisfying it’s exhilarating
Did I seriously do the entire king freddy fight without getting reflected? I didnt even notice the lasers and thought he was just kind of easy Edit: I did the secret you know who fight without jumping, did jumping lessen the damage or something? 30% of players beat it with jumping and 10% beat it without. I'm confused.
Doesn't the fact that The Black Rabbit being created in the Popgoes game by Popgoes confirms the protagonist of that game to be the murderer? The protagonist uses an arcade machine to look around and check the cameras while the soul of TBR was murdered at an arcade which presumably is either the building itself or another from the same company which would be ironic as TBR kills them if they don't use it correctly. Alternatively, if TBR doesn't visually kill the player, could the player perhaps be losing simply because they aren't supposed to let the murder come to light/avenged in which the murderer was someone not known - like the employer?
I was late to the livestream but watching the VOD was so great!!! I'm also EXTREMELY excited for the future OMORI playthrough you talked about in it,,,, Knowing what games are your favorites I think you're going to ADORE it. :]]] There's a ton of content in it too so !!!!!!!!
Ah yes Love the "collect the missing body parts of a dead childs corpse and discover a bonnie boss that if you hit you get a jumpscare and if you just not hit him you get some neat lore" And "A slideshow of video files in a corrupted area from an arcade machine showing a murder of a kid by the hands of her father and a cacaoughany of new lore including but not limited to said killed child and a scrapped animatronic trying to get revenge as he wasnt liked because of his cruel and unreal ideas" Oh yeah! And piss yellow popgoes! My favorite part! Oh yeah speaking of body parts i once killed a murderer and got a full pardon from italy! And how he also killed a man married his wife, and killed his wife after she finally called the athorities, i read his diary that he threw in the lake, he described in vivid detail how he chained the man on the wall and tortured him in ways i dare not describe, afted killing him he threw the body in the lake and did a forced marriage with his wife, and one night the kids watched in horror as he shanked her and he said that he has a new doll to play with After reading that i killed him with the help of the police and got a full pardon! But goddamn paoulo decided that he cant give a damn and tried to kill me with a breadstick and.... Wait what was i talking about again?
I just want to mention that Bonnie died A DAY before you play this game judging by the last two security recording's dates, and that is reaaaally creepy
The way you're hyped up ready for something to happen and yet also fuming at the idea of something NOT happening in the well, only to get the subtle, 'so many questions just happened' horror of "There is an axe floating in the well" fucking kills me.
(Possible spoilers) Hi dont know if this is still fact to the lore but I've seen that bonnies murderer was fritz (the phone guy) because she wore a toy bonnie mask that sent him into a ptsd induced panic and leading him to attack her wih an axe
Pastra, you forgot to mention that Popgoes Arcade and the Machinist expansion are only for 4,99 on steam. There practically giving it away!!! But seriously the video was really good, (as usual).
