That can be common- it’s just usually from guys not emphasizing their mechanics because it’s almost impossible to think about those things during the season. Just need to get a good set of daily drills next year to dk before every practice that emphasize good habits
I can testify to this. I played QB for flag football and lucky enough during my time just to go 6 tds 0 ints. But i had like 3 close ints where i can say i 2nd guessed the throw or somewhat hesitated. If i was more confident to fling those balls, they wouldve been easier to complete
Coach do you have any recommendations for improving ball placement? It's similar to accuracy, which you talk about here but I mean more on figuring out and deciding quickly at which spot to place the ball depending on the situation. I have no idea how to start improving in this aspect of quarterbacking.
@@markrobertbb well what the main aspects abt ball placement is 1. is the reciever gonna get hurt if i put this in a lead if not throw right at him or behind 2. is that safety coming in if so you throw behind 3. if he has 5-10 yards of separation lead him in front 4. if someone is closing in 9/10 look for another read 5. and sometimes back shoulder if it’s a go ball and he’s somewhat covered let your receiver make a play by throwing back shoulder hope this helps
