How Sonic Frontiers Changed My Taste in Music (Sleeping With Sirens)

don’t get me wrong, the titan themes are phenomenal but my personal favorite boss theme is “I’m with you” it feels oddly nostalgic to me and makes me think about life in general, which is what i love

I feel you 'cause listening to the titan battle themes non-stop lead me to finally check out sleeping with sirens and it was a deep discog dive I enjoyed doing

Madness has a lot of my favourite SWS songs like the heavier 'We Like It Loud' and 'Parasites' with lots of good screaming like mmmmmm but if I were to listen to their albums to completion, I'd chose Complete Collaspe and How It Feels To Be Lost. The first song I listened to that really opened my eyes was 'Break Me Down' solely because of the break down (heh), but one of my all time favourites has to be 'Let Love Bleed Red' which is an acoustic song that actually has a predecessor from when Kellin was doing a side project (Closer 2 Closure). Here's some fun facts: the really heavy screams in the first 2 albums are done by Jessie, along side Kellin, Justin is the longest staying member of the band and Kellin is married with 2 stepsons and a daughter.

This is literally me. My entire genre changed from Jazz (Persona) to this type of rock (Sonic). Mt biggest fear was that sonic music was going to dip in quality due to crush 40 leaving but wow I couldn't be any more wrong. I hope they keep him.

Interesting choice of music. The soundtrack of Sonic Frontiers really got me all rockin out, it goes hard. Some of those songs during the video sound pretty good, I should maybe listen to them sometime.

Even though this band I'm recommending isn't featured in any Sonic games, you should check out Japanese metal band "The Gazette". My favorite songs are "The Invisible Wall" and "Dogma". There's a few songs that would sound like they would be in a Sonic game (and one is actually in an anime). Also, imagine Sleeping With Sirens AND Crush 40. 🤔 Edit: "Dripping Insanity" is pretty good too

I love this game. It was my first Sonic game that I followed throughout its ENTIRE cycle. Its my Sonic Adventure, its my Sonic game and I love it so much!

its really neat to see games hiring singer or bands from long time bands and newer one to make new music instead of just putting their already released music into the game, i really wish more games did that.

Honestly I love the vast majority of the music in Frontiers. Of course the titan themes are the highlights. I’m with you is amazing too, and I personally love a lot of the Cyberspace tracks too. And yeah like you said too, I never would’ve known about Sleeping with Sirens if it wasn’t for this game

i love how Frontiers has showed metalcore and more specifically, emo post-hardcore to more Sonic fans, which you wouldnt think as the main demographic of it here's a few other emo post-hardcore bands like SWS, not really same style but still great bands: Pierce the Veil The Fall of Troy (my fav band ever) Chiodos Glassjaw Bullet For My Valentine (more metalcore than anything) now here's some metalcore bands that arent really like SWS but still same subgenre kinda (metalcore to be specific): Periphery Invent Animate Currents Architects Norma Jean and for last, Protest the Hero

I Liked the Titan Themes but I still preferred the more Traditional Sonic sounding Music like I’m Here. The Violin is like Sonic’s instrument. My favorite Titan Theme Break Through it all is mostly my favorite because of the Rapping parts with Tyler and the Guitar Solos.

As much as frontiers a mixed bag to many people it’s still a solid game If Wave 1 of the DLC update wa released Day 1 there would be far more replay value and music wise I mean all I can say is Titan themes at the gym makes you feel like a chad
