I'm not sure how exactly this came to be, but... so, everyone has a patience timer, right? That amount of time they can handle waiting before an anticipated experience. Simply using "Patience is a virtue!" My Grandma managed to not only increase the overall amount of time I was capable of waiting, but also, somehow, ingrained a "reset patience timer" button, activated by the very phrase, "patience is a virtue!" XD If I'm ever getting impatient, literally just say that and I will immediately chill and be ready to wait all over again, as if I haven't been waiting at all... once or twice... if I still have to wait at that point, my timer will start getting shorter when reset, until I eventually run out of patience entirely. This has never happened, though I have had the timer get shorter once or twice. I think I was waiting something like 3 hours? For what I was expecting to take 10 minutes?

I feel like a lot of people dont know this. But thats actually not a softlock. There is a npc in the pokecenter who gives you a tentacool with surf so its not actually a solftlock

Geometry dash players would probably be really good at this, some of the hardest levels have over 200 60fps frame perfects (although most pros play on 360fps as the physics in gd allow more fps to have less input delay and more accurate movements)

Yup, I can definitely see Freezai as an "Akshually" guy... Also akshually, the best nature is +attack and -defense/special defense because you want to outspeed the most amount of things and deal the most amount of damage in a speedrun🤓. It's game dependant, like Adamant drilbur/lillipup, Modest Empoleon/Raikou, Naughty/Rash Tepig, Naughty infernape... you get the point.

I love speedruns and such things and the people doing those are really impressive . But just for my Interest would teleporting to Dewford count as a softlock ? .. i mean you can fish for Tentacool there which can learn surf . And you get that HM by default when you have the 4th badge

the mudkip track actually isn't a "manual track". they haven't calculated every pokemon frame manually that's an algorithm who does that so. and it's not only for mudkip, all static pokemons uses the same "table" so the hit frame will determine the nature and all stuff and not the actually pokemon u choose

I thought that ruby/sapphire rng was only consistent when the battery clock is dead. Emerald doesn't seed the rng off the clock so its more consistent. Also isnt rng for pokemon based on your trainer id too? So this naughty nature mudkip is only valid for the one save file youre refering to yeah? Would a different trainer id and different clock time have potential for a faster better mudkip? Or was this 10k mudkip search taking that into consideration?

Cool video. I think most people would prefer the rest of the run included in this video. My interest and attention was there until the very end but the abrupt ending makes me lose interesting in following up with the rest of the run in a different video. If it finished out, I'd be interested in watching more runs to see what other tricks you pull. Just my perspective tho

i used to speed run this pokemon when i was 8, back on 2008... It took me 10-15hrs to finish and i was playing in game boy advance with no backlit.. good old days... i remeber always to make sure to bring a wobuffet to counter the 7th gym "destiny bond"😂 cause I like going with torchic so 7th gym is always the problem to me when i was little.

Even if you have found the perfect frame, you have to gamble over the 1/60 chance to get that desired nature and IV's. Such is the life of the RNG manipulator 😂😂😂😂

Question: Would it not be easier and faster to just ignore that framerate and go straight for 104 to catch a Tailow? I mean a Swallow can easily carry you with it's high speed and guts ability + after Norman you can learn Facade OHKO everyone that don't resist it.
