@barbararosensteel8031 oh Barbara, I was so caught off guard when I opened the box! I wasn't even thinking about a conversation I'd had with Donna a while ago! And it felt so "surreal" that I'd already said on video, that we'd had peanut butter on toast that morning! It all just felt strange, but brought all those childhood memories flooding back! It really does feel as if we are all one big happy family together ❤️ 🙏

@UlsterCountyNY that's EXACTLY what I said to John boy! Our routine is always a quick cereal for brekky during the week, and always take longer over some toast on the weekends. But this morning for the weirdest reason, he said why don't we have some toast fir a change, so it sort of feels like the weekend is here! 😀 such strange coincidence really caught me off guard. Donna is truly a beautiful human being ❤️

@deenafrayo this is so true Deena! The second I smelt those cookies, it LITERALLY took my mind straight back to the lovely family I knew in my childhood! It totally caught me off guard!!! And the biggest gift I have gotten from being on youtube, is to have known and met such a loving and beautiful group of human beings! This is why I truly think of all of you as dear family members 🙏❤️

@thekingstone8632 thank you my lovely, gor saying 🙏 and I have to say, that when I first thought "actually I could show my hobby on youtube and see if anyone would be at all interested", that it would become SUCH an important part in my life!!! I just thought I'd do a bit of house here and there, and the odd one or two would comment and sat, that's nice 😊 but it's become a major factor in my life, and I truly feel like we are all together in one huge virtual room, as a beautiful family! I'm touched by this thought every single day now 🙏😊 As far as pritt stick is concerned....it used to be a very convenient way of gluing wapapers, but they recently took a certain ingredient out of the product (I don't know why, maybe it became banned, or was cheaper by removing it, not sure) but I have heard that now it doesn't have the "staying power"! So the glue, in time, can lose its sticking ability, so over time the paper can become loose in areas. So I'm guessing that's why some folk say that it's easier to remove. But to be honest, with all the various products on the market, I am definitely finding the "Border & Overlap adhesive" by Bartoline, so much better! I can't remember off hand, but in some of my videos, I've shown how I do it. I always paste the wall, never the paper. And cover the wall as evenly as possible, attention around the edges! Spread it evenly so the paste isn't all thick in one area, or leaving any dryer areas. Then as you've previously cut the paper to fit that section, I just "offer it up" to the wall along one side, square on, and use a store card to smooth it along the wall as I lay it. Really, I think a lot of folk have problems because they just "go at it" quickly, and don't take just a little bit longer. I don't takes ages, but I just lay it nice and calmly, spreading with the card as I go. And most times, if there are any tiny wrinkles as the paper soaks up the glue, when the paper dries, it shrinks back to size, leaving it completely smooth. The only time this doesn't work, is when you've received your papers in the mail, and then realise why it was so cheap to buy! Because it's so thin you can almost see through it because it's such poor quality. Then 9 times out of 10 the paper just stretches or wrinkles and never dries flat! Hope all this hasn't board you my lovely 😂 but it's just my experience (and total passion)! 🙏❤️
