Everyone doubted Demar and Pop helped him find that focus and guide him to greatness!! Heck, Pop’s influence is still being felt with him and Murray doing their thing!!
Pop did help but let’s not act like demar didn’t put that work in and is the main reason why he’s that good, with all do respect as he played like an all star with the spurs he never shown this type of greatness except for this season.
He was already great. If it weren’t for literally the second best player in nba history him, Lowry and the raptors would’ve been in the finals multiple times. (They probably would’ve lost but that’s still great)
@@elderassassin9673 did you even watch this video? It was about how a team went from zero to hero in one off season.... The heat been good for a while ain't nobody doubting them.
me too, i lost touch when they traded Joakim Noah and Derrick Rose. they’ve been absolutely garbage, until i saw they signed Nikola Vucevic and Demar Derozan i knew they were going to be good and they snuck Caruso in there, good backcourt
The thing for me is that this isn’t new for DeRozan I don’t know how people forgot that back in Toronto he was great and was a co Star yo one of the best teams in the east for a few seasons, I’m happy for him and the bulls but this is something they have to prove in the playoffs, they don’t have to make the finals but at least go out fighting
People don’t listen!! I said the sameeeee shit. “Oh why the hell would we get DeMar Derozan he’s washed” that’s all I heard and I been telling everyone!!! Just watch what this team does. We have so many pieces that compliment each other amazingly
It's been a long 24 years since MJ left. I had a bit of excitement w/Rose but LaVine might be the one that brings us back to the top. Last time I was excited about being a Bulls fan was during Rose's MVP season . . . until now. Go Bulls!
Pistons fan here and I really like what Chicago has going on I'm like most people at the side of not to sleep on them and I thought we're going to be a top of three seeded team at their best and it seems like I was right
I still have a soft spot for the Chicago Bulls from my days growing up watching Jordan. In college I loved watching the Derrick Rose/Joakim Noah teams too. It's good to see Chicago being successful again. I finally feel like I have an eastern conference team I can proudly cheer for. Give em hell Bulls! Thanks for taking such good care of Alex Caruso for us.
As a bulls fan I'm very happy to have a team worth watching again. Especially considering this year has felt shame snake bitten with Covid and injuries. Our opening day starting 5 has played like 5 games together. Even now we're all down 2 starters and our 6th man. I don't think this is a championship contending team, but it is a team with enough to draw in a free agent that could put them over the top or assets to trade should one get disgruntled. Which compared to the past half decade is a nice feeling.
I’d be curious to see where they are at the end of the season. The East is so close, the bulls could easily drop a few spots before the end of the season. They also need to start beating some good teams
Miami Heat is one of the few teams Bulls cannot defeat, even if Miami has members on injury or covid protocol. Hopefully Caruso recovers on time when the playoffs begins cuz Bulls needs to be at their full power to stand a chance against Eastern Conference teams.
@CT shit I don't know if they can beat Toronto or Cavs in the first round. Shit I think those teams size could really stifle the Bulls offense with defensive schemes targeting the Bulls wings. We gonna find out soon.
i remember draft night waiting for ayo to come off the board. dude has been a star since high school. he showed out for illinois. it was a dream come true to see him come play for the bulls and carve out the roll that he has. i love my bulls. hope we can go all the way bruh. appreciate the recognition
Can happily say I was very wrong about the Demar signing. Thought that he was redundant with Lavine on the roster and that they'd get attacked on defense. Glad he's revived his image in the eyes of the basketball public
Just like a cute this is a bunch of guys who have been constantly overlooked in arguably over criticized only for them to show their true and real abilities on the basketball court all together making this team an arguable title contender
They will go FAR IN THE PLAYOFFS if Lavine start going to the rack more. He settles for jumpers too much. The dude is UNSTOPPABLE but he doesn't have that Killer instinct yet.
As a Bulls fan, I don’t expect this team to have great success in the playoffs, but I’m still so happy how they’ve turned around the franchise. Just don’t pull a Knicks lol
Disagree miami has been the best developing team in the nba case in point we took a bunch of G leaguers to the finals. We have a new crop of unknown players making huge impact its a big part why we are first in the league when our star players were out for most of the season.
As a pacers fan I'm happy that the bulls got better man its going be tough to beat them in the central division next to the bucks but they 2nd on that list. We taking a step back by rebuilding so hopefully we can get there to atop of that list since 2013-14 and 2012-13 season god i miss those days. But I'm excited that zach lavine got some help around him if the bulls haven't made those moves zach would probably leave but I doubt it. Thanks for my ted talk
*Being a Bulls fan since the hey days of Derrick Rose, while it was short-lived it was still memorable and fun to witness it all, now they're back at the top where they should be has been an awesome sight, can't wait to see what they can do when the games matter most, in April.*
5:22 “Ayo’s ceiling is as a high a many top 10 picks”. On point. Ayo unfortunately is on a team with two guards scoring 25-28pts each and demanding the ball but in the last couple months Ayo averages in limited play 10pts 5ast low turnovers, good shooting, and great finishing at the hoop. In 2 years he will be 20pt 8 ast borderline all star player.
As a Bulls fan, it feels so pgreat to FINALLY have a competent front office. And not only competent, but actually pretty damn great and one of the best in the league
As a bulls fan I am happy about how good are team is but we’re dealing with injuries a little bit we’re without are two best defenders lonzo and caruso but when it comes to the playoffs we need all are players healthy and win games and were 0-3 against the sixer’s and if we play the sixer’s in the playoffs against them we’re gonna be in trouble with them and all these other good teams so we have a good team but we need healthy players but I love are team!
Coach pop is like a military teacher who helped Demar Derozan into a all around player. Derozan has been a good mentor for Zach Lavine, Lonzo, Coby and Ayo.
As a Timberwolves fan I'm glad that Zach Lavine is finding success on another team I like and that it comes with my own team also enjoying a bit of a revival.
My concern with them is they really can't beat the best teams. And this is with Ball and Caruso but we'll see how far they go in the playoffs. I love what they have though.
Karnisovas and Eversly have been a godsend. Thank god they finally fired GarPax (even though they promoted John “Choked Scott Skiles on the Team Plane” Paxson)
They remind me of the Suns, to be honest with you. A promising team that really just needed a culture make-up. Phoenix did it with James Jones & Monty Williams taking over, while Chicago got rid of GarPax (or at least half of it) and got Arturas Karnisovas to help out their decision making. God, a 1993 NBA Finals rematch in 2022 would be sick to see! :D
Let me put it like this the bulls did what ever team with a young superstar claims they're going to do. First they trade for Nikola (cant spell his last name to save my life right now) an all star level center than can stretch the floor. Then they sign Demar a mid range assassin, good playmaker and defended also all star level. And then grab Lonzo a playing making defended to help Lavine on defense. Then they keep their young guys aside for Lari Markaten (I know I spell it wrong trying yo type at work) they still have Coby White, and grabbed Alex Caruso. It took the bulls one year to do what so many franchisee fail to do in 4 years
I hate how this list is mostly 4 instances of the Lakers refusing to create stars because they want guys that are older. Pretty much shooting themselves in the foot before the season began
I really like the optimism that people have for this team, however they have yet to beat a real good team this season weather its a team they mught face in the playoffs or finals, this team does not have post season experience except derozan and caruso and ony one of those have made it to the finals. I really like underdogs but i dont see this team making it pass the second round.
Like many "surprise seasons", they beast on the non playoff teams and lose/split with the good teams. Which leads to ATL winning 60 games but getting swept in the Playoffs
Idk if u said this because I'm saying it at the start but this is why I'm so anti tank. U don't need to be bad for years just to get good again especially with the new lottery adds
