I think the biggest thing that has made scoring a bit easier is floor spacing Lot of teams have 5 guys that can all shoot , therefore opening up the lane and reducing help side It’s the skill set evolving

A big difference between Jokic and Magic/Stockton/Kidd/Paul when it comes to his ast numbers. His level of responsibility is double or triple to that of his predecessors. He has to be the number scoring option giving you 25-35 a night, the best rebounder, run the entire teams offense and facilitate. None of those other guys averaging 10+ ast a game had to do half of that. They were able to sit back most of the time, facilitate and run the offense and score when they had to. We've never seen someone have that level of responsibility other then MAYBE 2018 Lebron
