I think for th17, they could do a merged mortar tower like the multi canon and archer tower. But it would be a mini eagle artillery. It would really help make the mortar better.
I feel like the eagle is the most defense that can ruin ur attack starting from th11+, it does tons of damage and covers nearly all of the base so it doesn't lose its place by time unlike other defenses like the x-bow or infernos
It depends. You can see a base w infernos in the middle and the eagle on the side. I think that the single target inferno loses its purpose bc dragon spam isn't a thing at max th
I personally think merging the eagle artillery and the town hall is a terrible idea because of how much less value you get out of both of them. With a meta of blizzards and super archers and sneaky goblins, it’s super easy to at least get rid of the town hall which is already a major defense itself, but if combined with eagle artillery, that’s just two powerful weapons down just like that whereas eagle artillery separately can be somewhere else better on the map

I don't think they'll ever merge the monolith lol... Major part of what makes it so threatening is it's presence in a different section of the base... I like to call these anchor defenses just like the town hall and eagle right now... Monolith is even more so than the eagle...
the eagle back in th11 2015 was way stronger than it is now. now that we have 30% more troops with sieges than before and it indirectly nerfs the eagle. the eagle now is a much lower threat than before and i would say poision tower/single inferno/monolith is a bigger threat than eagle.
And they are going to merge it with the TH... currently the big three are TH eagle monolith... 17 is going to merge two of them... so 17 may be the level that makes everyone stop playing
