Do you follow your righteous predecessors, like Salman al-Farsi (may Allah be pleased with him)? Or do you follow the heresy of Ismail al-Safawi, who divided and attacked the Muslim Ummah?
@Viqan-lf2ro i follow our prophet and teacher Hazrat Muhammad (saw). Muslims divided in early days after death of our beloved Prophet (saw), so the most important is to follow Prophet's (saw) teachings.
Islam was a positive influence for Persia just like all other nations. Unlike what Iranian nationalists would have you believe. Persian academic Daniel Haqiqatjou summed it up best in his post titled: "Zoroastrianism and Iranian Nationalism: A Very Odd Couple"
@@Ali-fc1bv supposedly...but if you look at alot of his tweets and posts he tries hard to promote the Iranian political agenda and waters down their crimes and the Syrian regime's genocide of Sunni's, very suspicious. I used to like him alot then stopped as i noticed strange and disturbing statements from him.
People always say both the romans and sassanians were weak at their time... but they do realize even if they were weak they had better armor, weapon and had all sorts of formal training, whereas you have these desert nomads who settled in a barren valley with nothing but a few warriors who know how to fight....

Question: How was the Soviet Union able to defeat all the Turkish kingdoms and force them to leave Islam? I was shocked that most of Russia's area was originally Turkish emirates
Khalid ibn walid r.a. conquered South of the Euphrates River and could have took thier capital but had little amount of soldiers for it. Sa'ad ibn abi Waqqas r.a. was the one who conquered perisa.
If Islam was indeed forced upon the Persian people...... it wouldn't have taken them 400 years to convert Islam.... it would have taken them only 1 day....
You’ve got it backwards, buddy. It would have happened a lot faster if it were forced. Plus the first Arab conquerors did not even want the Persians to become Muslim. Read about it. Be intellectually responsible.
@@user98344that is incorrect. As Muslims they would have had to pay taxes too. And they were not second class citizens. From the beginning, they took the lead in administration, sciences, etc. Read more history. Learn about the Barmakids, for example.
Whats funny is that the cowering sassanid king yazdegerd begged for help from the turkic khaganate but the turks instead told them to find peace with the arabs.. 🤣😂

Ma sha Allah brother, your knowledge and research of history is outstanding, despite thier being many different narratives in western history. May Allah bless you.
Persia was ahl as-Sunnah for 800 years, until the safawi dynasty took over in 1500 AD and forced the population under the sword to convert to shiism hence today the Sunni minority of Iran are all in the border regions as their ancestors had fled to these areas to avoid slaughter.
@@Viqan-lf2ro The Fatamids never forcefully converted the Egyptian populace, they were a Shia dynasty ruling over Sunni majority. The Safavid however due to competition with the Ottomans wanted a fully Shia state to counter Ottoman loyalty and influence inside their borders
@@InfiniteMotivation23 Arabs are not like Persians dude, you can't forcefully convert an Arab. the fatimid kings literally thought they were divine, also there is no proof that they descended from Fatimah r.a. also they were Ismailis, meaning they didn't believe in 12 imams
We were Shia even before the safavid times fool , buyids , alawis and etc were all Shia kingdoms , even the Sunni kingdoms apposed the Caliphate, we were Shia from the beginning and we were practicing Taqiya, when the safavids came people finally stopped their Taqiya and started to be recognized by other people
Battle of Al Qadisiyyah is one of the greatest battles for the Muslims. For it severly weakend the persian army, its elephents, their greatest warriors, their greatest generals and large equipments were lost and retreated. There after, not just Cestiphon (Persian capital in Mesapotamia), but all of persia was conquered Even though battle of Nahavand was the last stand for Persians, it really all started with al Qadisiyyah.
Battle of Qadisiyah and Battle of Yarmouk were the two decisive battles that changed the course of history. These two battles broke the back of the Persians and Romans
Thank you for your video. If I may ask, was all the territorial gain by Muslims done through military battles or were some resolved through skirmishes / duels of army leaders or negotiations (populations willing to switch sides due to injustice)?
In persia mostly battles but in sham and especially north africa mostly without victims because of genius tactics of khalid ibn walid. His ways of taking cities and fortresses was incredible.
Omar - met you a couple of months ago on Jummah at Masjid Toronto Dundas. I'd recommend you do a collab with a channel called "The Kohistani".....they do Islamic history videos as well and I think you'd do a great collab InshaAllah
And in the Persian Empire a girl became Emperor and the revealed I don't remember the exact word of the Aya but it said that girls cannot rule obviously there are some good girls who can who can be good rulers like the queen of Shiba but it is in Islam a woman cannot rule it is better for a man a woman is only allowed if there is no man capable of ruling in the entire nation
brother, please tell us bout how iran, the heart of ahle sunnah became shia. i know ismail safawi did force convert the muslims, can you make a video on that ?
It was not an Arab army against a Persian army. It was a Muslim army against a Zoroastrian army. An army of monotheists against an army of fire worshippers.
Not even close. Also, the Zoroastrians aren't fire worshipers. They just pray to their God through fire exactly like Muslims pray to their God through the Kaaba.
@@user98344 >"Not even close." What? >"the Zoroastrians aren't fire worshipers" They are. >"Muslims pray to their God through the Kaaba" False. Muslims don't pray **through** the Ka'aba. Muslims pray to the Supreme Creator directly. As for Ka'ba, then it is a direction for ritual prayer - salah. Just a direction and nothing more.

"Golden Age of Islam" is thanks to Central Asian scholars. Al-Khwaraizmi, Avicenna, Al-Biruni, Alfraganus, they were from Transoxiana. It seems too nationalistic to label them as persian
The Persians, like other Arabs and Berbers, had a presence in the development of science. If you say who leads the Abbasid Caliphate, you will say that he is an Arab, and if you say that the Persian scholars were the ones who developed science in the Islamic Renaissance, Ibn Hayyan, the founder of chemistry, was an Arab, Ibn al-Tufayl, the discoverer of blood circulation, was an Arab, Ibn al-Haytham, the founder of optics, was an Arab, and al-Zawahiri, the founder of The science of surgery was Arab, Ibn Khaldun, the founder of sociology, was Arab, Al-Kindi was the father of philosophy, who translated Greek philosophy and had a role in transmitting knowledge to the nation, and he was Arab, etc. If you mention Persian scholars, I can mention many Arab scholars and even Berber scholars as well.
@@user-kj8yl6sn2z 1) Place all of your "ibn someone" scholars in one corner, but the volume of their work altogether cannot match Avicenna's legacy. Not talking about other Central Asian scholars. 2) Open your eyes and read what I wrote! Please, I do beg you to open your eyes when you read! Please dude! 3) I am not mentioning any persian scholar. I am just clarifying that those great scholars who literally engineered the Muslim world, should not be considered as Persians only because they were not arabs. Arabic world is so "intelligent" that all non-arabs would fall into "persian" category.
yeah, they were Persian Muslims. you should also read about Andalusia and it's contributions to the islamic civilization. central Asia's contributions to the islamic civilization were great but we should not ignore north Africa, the Iberian peninsula and the middle east.
The star and crescent symbol didnt even exist in the periods shown in the video. Please edit it out. The star and crescent is a symbol of the Ottoman Empire, not Islam
we really have to teach this History in which Arab Muslims will defeat non-Muslims who will subsequently become Muslims, even non-Arabs, and so on? Or should we also teach the history of internal struggles and fratricidal wars between Muslims of all ethnic origins?
Learning the details of post-Rashidun history is a big black-pill. Persisting blood feuds even after everyone converts. But most Muslims aren't ready to hear that. They'll just blame it on colonialism instead. Maybe when Muslims are confident about themselves again (when there's at least one global Muslim power), we'll have that discussion.
In the Name of Allah, Most Gracious and Most Merciful And those who disbelieve are allies of one another, (and) if you (Muslims of the whole world collectively) do not do so [i.e. become allies, as one united block under one Khalifah (a chief Muslim ruler for the whole Muslim world) to make victorious Allah's religion of Islamic Monotheism], there will be Fitnah (wars, battles, polytheism) and oppression on the earth, and a great mischief and corruption (appearance of polytheism). 8: 73 Why are we Muslims not talking about reestablishing the power and control Allah SWT give us from the beginning? The command is to unite under one Khalifah. The number one concern on the minds of the Muslims is the tragedy in Gazza. The destruction in Gazza is worse than that of Hiroshima and Nagasaki combined. The Zionist Israelis are the modern day Amelak as they were a tribe from nation of the Israelites and their brutality in Gazza and West Bank is the evidence. We have to listen to what Allah SWT is saying to us in the above verse and from the beginning. "And Remember when your Lord said to the Angels, I am going place Khalifah on earth".... 2: 30 You see the UN which controlled by USA, is dead body in the muddy water as every resolution passed by majority, is vetoed by USA. Which means we have to create a balance of power in the world by creating United League of Muslim Nations. Which is to reestablish the Caliphate because we are children of Adam, peace be upon him . "United League of Muslim Nations" under one Khalifah will be a strictly defensive Force with a quick response to any threat to the Ummah of Islam. And it is easy to do it. It will be the Council of Muftis, from which they will choose the Khalifah. Under the Khalifah will be a seat for a Mufti from every country in world with 100,000 plus Muslim population as Islam is for entire World. From every municipality we will choose a representative till we have the Council of Muftis for that country with a Grand Mufti of that country to sit in the Council of Muftis under the Khalifah. All communication can be done remotely with everyone working from home. Most effective and real democratic way of governing where all decisions are made by the Council of Muftis but the Khalifah having the final say. Under the Khalifah, the "ULMN" will have its own army, navy and Air Force under one commander for defending the entire ummah. We already have the hardware from major Muslim countries. They just have to be relabeled "ULMN" when they out to defend any part of the Ummah like removing the Mediterranean Sea blockade by Israelis. The four letters "ULMN" will be enough to deter anyone from doing what is happening in Gazza today. But we have to be the Nation of Al Muttaqun for Allah SWT is saying now: "You are the Best of People ever raised up for Mankind, enjoining what is Good, forbidding what is evil and believing in Allah SWT" .... Quran 3: 110 Then how can we go wrong when the fear of "ULMN" will overwhelm the hearts of our enemies? That is what Islam is and we are Muslims to resolve every matter in a Peaceful manner, Insha Allah. Alhamdu Lillah. If no one is willing to act as the acting Khalifah, I will be the acting Khalifah till one is chosen and sincerely invite all Muslims to join me in this effort, for if we fail but we will never fail, we will still get one Hashanah for our intentions, Insha Allah Jazak Allah Khair Your brother Abu Saad Acting Khalifah (as Son of Adam, AS.
