Maybe the idea of creating an INDEPENDENT OPPOSITION to G-D through a HUMAN BEING, who is aware of his existence by HIMSELF, much like his Creator - is to give him FREEDOM OF CHOICE to select the correct option with RESISTANCE, according to the correct formula - MITZVAHS.
Nahama D'kisufa is the Bread of Shame - which in the Ramchal refers to the experience we have when we receive something that we have not earned - a feeling of shame. But hey, don't you love getting a free gift? Where's the shame? Wouldn't you love to win the lottery? Where's the shame? But it's the foundation of reality as we know it - we're here in this world to learn Torah and do Mitzvos, so we can 'earn' the light Hashem wants to give us; a light which would be too much to handle if we had not earned it. But why is it called the 'Bread of Shame?' Why isn't it simply referred to as something like the 'uncomfortable principle?' Or something like that? I realized today that the 'Bread of Shame' is actually a play on the passuk which speaks of the response Hashem gave to Adam's sin. He was told he would 'eat bread by the sweat of his face.' (actually it's literally 'sweat of his nose.') Whereas the bread he ate before in the Garden of Eden was given to him without any need for effort on his part - it literally grew on trees - now he would have to be involved in the process of bringing the bread from the earth.
When you mentioned the various combinations and permutations of the 10 Sefiros, and that the Redemption will come when each person fulfills that structured - then what do you say to those who insist that everybody regardless of his propensities and potentials must reinvent the wheel in each and every generation, and that is - Chumash, Mishna, Gemorrah, Halacha?
Great shiur. But I feel it isn't this way. The zulaso cannot feel this way by itself although you are right these drives are dormant in the zulaso but it cannot manifest because the zulaso as it exists devoid of a soul and body sees itself as a unity with God, there is no differentiation, the zulaso and God are merged. It's only when it is dressed in the body where it has a sense of a true self.
An hour's worth of nonsense that has NOTHING to do with the Noahide Law. Why not teach Noahides something valuable, such as why Noahides should be studying the halakha and hashkafa of Noahdie Law and not spiritual nonsense.
