@@aaliyassworld I think it's different for everyone. My contacts were so tight that it was the most painful part for me because they jammed it down into my gums and cut them open. Unfortunately I had a bad experience, but it probably isn't supposed to be that bad for everyone else lol 😅

@@aaliyassworld not traumatic, but it wasn't fun! Every other appointment has been great so far. I got mine on about a month ago, and just got them tightened 2 days ago. They're sore but not unbearable. When you get yours on, stock up on soft foods to enjoy until the tenderness goes away. 😊

My spacers did not hurt at all but I only had them for the duration of my appointment because I got my bottom braces before my top and didint get a band on the bottom so I had spacers while I got the braces on the top and I only got 2 because i already had some dpace

Hi, so I'm going to get braces soon and i wanted to ask you, was is the first thing that they do?do you get your braces that same day or do they clean your teeth take measurements and then after a few days Maybe you can get your braces. And if you have to wait till they get your braces ready, how much time would it take? Also Wich color do you recommend the most, I'm a girl and I've been recommended baby blue, and I like baby pink as well or maybe light violet, or maybe very light red cause it's my favorite color but i don't want it to look like I'm bleeding, I also on't want something too shiny that will attract too much attention to my mouth, I'm very insecure about my teeth. Thank you so much for your hard work I love your videos I started watching them when i wanted to get braces and you were the first channel I saw and followed that talked about braces ❤️❤️.

yeah, all of the thing shown in the video is the same day. But before put the braces on you might need the expander or the expand chain (the one put between teeth).

If you haven't had any appointments yet the first thing they do with the first appointment would probably just be taking x-rays, I had that appointment a few weeks ago, my next appointment is next month where they'll see exactly what they have to do with my teeth to make them straight then I think we'll make another appointment and they'll probably put the braces on which would probably be like in this video, I don't think they really have to take measurements since it's just brackets and wires

Are molar bands always required?

It is not necessary to have molar bands if you applied braces, only some people need this to get the desired correction.

Well I got mine like two months ago It won't hurt u while ur putting ur braces ur just gonna feel uncomfortable when u get them tightened but u won't be able to eat anything hard for like a week not even bread

I was wondering if you are ever going to show us putting spacers in before braces, and then getting braces and bands at the same time because really you are just causing the patient double the pain. Shame on you.
