Lmao, I live in an apartment building and we have a dentist, he has his own apartment here thanks to the money he earns when neighbours visit him. He messes up and my dude has to leave the building.

for anyone getting braces in my experience getting it put on did not hurt at all the only uncomfortable thing for me was the flavor of the blue stuff on my teeth it was so sour

Guys trust me getting braces for the first time it's not as bad as you think. Don't stress about it. Ima be honest with you, eventually when you get new wires your teeth will hurt for a few days, and if they require you to wear the bands, it's gonna put pressure on the teeth. But don't worry about it for right now, you are gonna be fine. I've had braces for about a year and half. I take mine off in 2 weeks and I'm so excited! (June 4th to be exact). But don't think about it and just some sleep. Stay safe and have a wonderful day
@@anjalianand1177 it depends on your teeth, but extractions are made only if you have either severe overbite or severe underbite that rubber bands can't fix it alone. Only on severe cases, if you have a normal overbite, underbite, crossbite, or just a normal smile, you'll be fine 😄
when i first got my braces i was so scared because my friend who already had braces told me that they hurt so i started crying on the day on my apointment and then i realized in the end it didnt hurt at all

The only thing that hurt was when they tightened them and I only had them on for a year and a half I had a bad overbite but my teeth look awesome now!!
I’m getting braces for a second time at 21 cause I didn’t wear my retainers properly. It didn’t hurt at all when they were fitted the first time, I just felt some pulling and tugging. The pain started that night and lasted for about 3 days. It was unbearable and I begged my mum to take me back to the orthodontist to have them removed. 😂 I’m curious to see how I tolerate the pain again as an adult.

Finally getting mine tomorrow morning after 3 years Edit: I got them on Wednesday it is now Friday, I’ve adjusted really well to them and I feel it is good, it didn’t hurt too bad I didn’t take any medicine or anything just had a headache and jaw hurt the 2nd day I had them, one tip If you’re getting them stay home from school or just sit and relax the next day, but also there’s tenderness in the teeth where they feel really soft and it hurts a lot to bite down on anything, eat soft foods like mashed potato’s and other things, it’s mostly only the front teeth only lasts 4-5 days but for me it feels like my teeth won’t ever be better, but next week I’ll be fine And also before you get them on put on lots of chapstick and have a bottle of water after to drink from mouth gets dry
Guys, braces are not that bad. The maximum they will hurt for is for a week. Mine usually only last a day or two. Some good foods you can eat are banana bread, soft cereals (but just make sure not to bit the spoon), soup, and any soft or liquid foods. The thing I was worried about was when people would say “Ewww! You have braces?” But unless they’re just jealous of their crocked teeth, they won’t care. Everyone I know says “Wow! What are they like? I am getting them on soon as well!”

Having an overbite and get braces is the worst thing ever, especially if u get that thing that pushes ur teeth forward. I was crying while getting that thing, they literally hammered it into my jaw💀💀

Call me crazy, but when I first got my braces, it didn’t really hurt. It only hurt most times during the night, so I got up to go drink cold water with ice. This is for my top, idk about my bottom bc im getting them on May 27th 2022! (Got my top brackets on December 10th 2021)
Hi! I have a question. I’ve had my braces for a little over 2 years and I don’t have those rubber bands that go between the back teeth. What are they used for?
The ones that go between the teeth are spacers that allow an ortho to put in molar bands that the wire is attached to. I usually see them before braces are are put in, not after. Not sure why they are in here.
I just commented to my dental hygienist that I wanted to see what she sees when she's cleaning teeth and she said no ya wouldn't..and I said...yeah I would....great videos
Wow I've actually never seen braces put on someone. I've been wanting braces for years and at least now I know it looks like they try to make it as comfortable as possible for you. I'm hoping to get some pretty soon.

I’m 12 and I’m getting braces at 14 because I have to grow. Before lockdown I was meant to get a small brace for a tooth but then now they say to just get braces.

I have been going to dentist to get braces and it's almost a year now. I have not gotten them yet. I don't know why they are not putting braces and tell me to come later.😔 i was 14 when i first went there and niw i am 15.

I’ve had braces for almost 2 years and a half and I personally like to get navy blue for sure, lavender, a deep red or soft red almost pink, or any blue I find that it looks better. Good luck with you braces.

I think I need braces and I think I have a over bite and at the front of my teeth at the bottom my teeth are over lapping and I have splits do I need braces should I ask my mom ?
I'm so grateful for the ortho assistants at my office. I'm a hygienist, and sometimes when I get frustrated with my tedious work, I remember what my ortho pals are up to lol

I used to watch my orthodontist do it along with weaving the wires in; it was so interesting to watch. I did not become a dental assistant; I became a data processing technician and that was loads of fun

depends on what you like. examples I like harry potter so i’d get my house color (green and silver, blue *they have no bronze*, yellow and black, anddd red and gold *im not sure if they have gold*) Or I like marvel (red and blue) (red and white) or I like dc (depending on who you like) you get the idea, or just use the color your wear the most
