Honestly, the fact that reptiles live so long is part of the reason I want to reptile over a dog or a cat. I don't want to have to bury the reptile, I want the reptile to bury me.

They also don't eat nearly as often as mammal pets, that's why crocodilians survived the dinosaur asteroid, even though they were big they only needed to eat once a year. That's also the reason why dinos went extinct,they were warm blooded with a metabolism close to mammals and birds(the only dinosaurs that survived).

In Italian the word formosa literally means... Shapeful? From Forma = Shape, but the right english translation should be "buxom". Romania instead uses a very similar word same way as in Portuguese with frumoasa meaning beautiful.

8:31 They couldn't off Napoleon, the main reason why all the monarchies around France wanted to put revolutionary France down is because they killed their king which they said you're never supposed to do since kings are ''chosen by God''. Napoleon had been crowned emperor by the pope meaning he officially was a monarch now as well. If they killed him, it would have weakened their own position and would have made it a lot more likely that they'd end up facing the guillotine in their own country. Besides, since they were the ones who declared war on France, not the other way around, Napoleon technically hadn't done any crime they could execute him for.

For most of time you were just guilty of losing and killed based upon that. This major change of monarchs not killing monarch is quite "recent" and especially due to absolutism. Before that, everyone was free game. Who gonna get angry? The country you just beat up and killed their leader?

That itself is a misunderstanding. Although it is true that high ranking officers like Tarkin and Darth Vader wanted the rebels to escape, the stormtroopers were not informed of this plan. Obi-Wan overheard a conversation between stormtroopers that made clear that they were completely in the dark about what was going on. The stormtroopers had bad aim because of poor training and the restricted vision of their helmets.

And, in a way, the empires and dynasties are gone, but Turkic, Indian, Mongolic and Arabic people and their civilizations and countries are also still around. They Japanese had already planned to surrender to the British before the bombs were dropped. They heard the British and Soviets along with the US could attack the country, they sent a messenger to the Brits, but they US didn’t know and dropped the bomb after a miss translation. The US sent a message to the Japanese asking to surrender, to which the Japanese responded with “no comment”.

8:09 Not to defend how work currently is, but I'm pretty sure that these days off work weren't just resting in luxury -- and definitely not spending it gaming. They had to do stuff like home maintenance, childcare and tending to their crops (growing one half of the year, harvesting the next). Much of their work was private. They also had less things than we do -- so their lives were more sustainable with less public work.
