It’s really really sad to see how far we as humanity have fallen. I agree with all points made except number 15, the part about "Singleness." Biblically speaking, Paul says in (1 Corinthians 7:1-8) it is better if one can remain unmarried as Paul himself was, but if you are unable to live with self control as an unmarried individual...then by all means get married to another believer who is of course heterosexual and monogamous. Additionally, we will not be married in the resurrection, as we will be like the angels neither marrying nor given in marriage (Matthew 22:30). *1 Corinthians 7:1-8* "Now concerning the things of which you wrote to me: It is good for a man not to touch a woman. Nevertheless, because of sexual immorality, let each man have his own wife, and let each woman have her own husband. Let the husband render to his wife the affection due her, and likewise also the wife to her husband. The wife does not have authority over her own body, but the husband does. And likewise the husband does not have authority over his own body, but the wife does. For the final point, I greatly respect you and John MacArthur, and I do agree there are people who want to stay single for selfish reasons. It’s not a sin to be single, as that was the case for Jesus, Paul and many others. From the John MacArthur clip you chose, it sounds like he’s suggesting singleness is a sin, though I would like to see the full sermon. I agree completely on the other points though! And the Nick Fury clip was hilarious btw!

I have to take exception to the last one. "Singleness" remember that the early Church ENDORSED singleness as a way to avoid the sins of the world. Jesus was single! Many Church fathers were single! It isn't a sin! It's actually recommended! Also look at today's reality. Women just want to maintain a lifestyle of being a Bachelorette with a kid or 2 kids and so guess who gets kicked out? The husband. You need to listen to Jordan Peterson on this. The more promiscuous the woman, the higher your marriage will FAIL usually in the first year. Now women from SOME cultures like the Mormons or the Amish/Mennonite/Hutterites tend to NOT stray but they also don't marry outside of their religion so that isn't an option. Frankly men who do marry should make a prior agreement with their wives to "depart in peace" after three years of marriage because divorce in this culture is inevitable.

Agree with this video very much! Except for singleness. Christians are often waiting to get married because there is NO one who is actually a Christian to marry!!! As a newly wed, almost two years, and having been single for 41 years up until our marriage, I was greatly offended by many churches for considering me a second class citizen for not being married! I would have married 20 years ago, but God did not provide at that time. Singleness should be valued as a perfectly acceptable choice and not as “gee something must be wrong with her/him”. Yes people are not valuing marriage and taking advantage of it, but one can’t just marry anyone either. It is a very important decision, not to be taken lightly!!! So when MacArthur says “get married”, that is easier said than done. Paul was single, John the Baptist, Jeremiah, Jesus, others! Perhaps while most definitely valuing marriage, we also need to value singleness and respect those who stay single, help and pray and support those who want to get married, raise up godly boys and girls so that there will be marriage partners, and not look down on single people in the church!!!

just a question, Interesfed in your view Todd, is prescription marijuana oil, used for medicinal treatment worse than a prescription medication being used to treat the same ailment, say chronic pain. or insomnia? personally I don't use medicinal marijuana, but it has been suggested to me as I suffer from insomnia, the amount that would be used to treat this doesn't get you high, it's natural, and doesn't have the same negative side effects as the prescription medications? and some of the prescription medication are highly addictive. with marijuana being legalised for medicinal use does this make it OK to use for that purpose in some countries / states? The only thing I disagree with is singleness. Can it be for the wrong reasons to remain single? But getting married is not the only way to glorify God. It is stewarding where you are placed. People such as Paul stayed single because it was better for him to devote himself to the Lord. Although I want to get married, the time is not now. It may never be. Do I just sit around or get married to just anyone? No, that isn’t very wise to just be lazy or to marry just cause everyone else it. It is not that I want to be single forever, it is just the season right now I can glorify God in the most. But definitely the rest I agree with and see in the culture.
