How To 2007 Chevrolet Silverado Blower motor resistor replacement AC heater fan won't operate in any posistion.
Mark Boice Scared Shiftless With Rides and Wrecks shows you how to Remove and install a blower resistor control module. Most inporatnt information you will need when ordering. The under dash cover could take longer to install than the resistor.
Just a little video outlining how to fix the blower motor resistor or blower control module in a chevy truck when the heater blower motor will not operate. This video is showing how to fix one of several possible problems. As with any automotive problem, you should first diagnose the vehicle to confirm this is the issue, then perform this procedure once you determine this is the issue.

I took my Silverado to a local car repair shop in my town and the service writer quoted me $600.00 to replace the blower motor and resistor. I thought the price was way too expensive and I decided to do it myself. I went to my local O'Riley auto parts store and spent $175.00 on the blower motor and resistor and did it myself. Your video saved me $425.00. Thank you for your help and now I can proudly say that I am a RU-vid mechanic 🧰

Thank you for this video. Your video and many others have saved me a lot of money by giving me the know how to do it myself. Question- My blower works on speeds 1, 2 & 3 but not 4 and 5. I am fine with this but want to be sure that if I do not repair it, it will be fine? Will it cause problems if I don’t have it repaired?

Thanks for the video. That was the issue in my truck. High speed #5 will not work even after installing a new resistor the plug is Burt up. Can I pick up a new plug at the auto part store and when I cut the wires is it a easy color code attachment? Thanks

That's the same issue with mine. My mechanic installed a new blower resistor but speed 5 still doesn't work. Why not if its brand new? Had I know it was this easy to installed I would have done it myself
