Just got a gently used 2022 Ram. I know where the jack is, and I found the cover for the hole to access cranking down the tire. Now that I watched this, I know about connecting the rod sections and using the lug wrench to crank the tire down. That's exactly the info I was looking for. Here's hoping I never have to do this in the dark on the side of a busy road in a snowstorm at 4 degrees below zero, wearing my "good clothes", while a complaining woman sits in the passenger seat, warm, clean, and dry, wondering "What's taking so long?!" 🙂 Just curious, what kind of jack do you carry so you can bypass the scissor jack? A bottle jack, hydraulic jack, or...? Thanks for your time and for the video!
Of course, I appreciate the feedback!! I keep a 1.5 ton harbor freight floor jack under the back seat. I’ve never actually used it for myself but there’s been a few times I’ve helped someone out in the parking lot/used it for a family member and it works good.
