How To Activate Apple Watch on Visible ($5 Unlimited Data Plan) 

Though I'm rarely away from my phone, I do feel that $5 a month is a fair price for watch service. People who are on trails or maybe runners, where weight is a concern, this is really handy to keep connected. I've seen videos of people trying to use a cellular Apple Watch as their "phone" for the day, And battery life just isn't good enough to replace a cellphone. At least not without charging it multiple times a day. So in my opinion, It's uses is limited for most people not worth it.

You said you didn’t know why somebody would want a Watch on cellular. In my case my regular iPhone is a Max Pro. So when I am hiking it is nice to leave the phone at home and rely on the Watch on those rare occasions communication is necessary, or if there is an emergency. I found your video because I just added the 15.00/12 month plan you talked about elsewhere. Adding the Watch to Visible because in my part of the world T-Mobile has started to rely too much on Band 71 for LTE, which the Apple Watch does not use. Thank you for keeping up on all the plans for us.

I have 3 phone plans on visible, is there a way I can swap watch around the 3 phones? I know not at once but I don’t always need to carry my phone. Or the other 2 don’t need to carry theirs. Hope this is making since. Should be a simple swap whenever 1 of don’t want to take a big bulky phone.

After you've set up your Apple Watch for cellular, are you able to toggle off the cellular signal from the Watch app on your phone? (I know that you can toggle it on the watch. I'm trying to figure out if I can toggle it off remotely on my kids' watches....)

I literally never knew that Visible existed. Before I discovered this channel I had Straight Talk. I was paying around $65 a month with a $5 discount with autopay. So basically $60 a month. I got unlimited data, which was good, but it really only was 60GB. It technically didn’t get slowed down to 2G unlimited data like straight talk’s other plans, but I really didn’t need straight talk going into my account to see my activity, because if you went over 60 GB, they checked your account for “violations.” I also got 20 GB of hotspot data, and 100 GB of cloud storage. It was great, but the thing was I *only* use my data because the internet in my area is pretty trash, but near the house there is a cell tower, and I get 4 bars of signal all the time. So I always have to be cautious not to waste all my hotspot data or 60 gigs. Once I got to around 59 gigs in around literally only three days. I also used up all my hotspot data for my console. Bedsides that, the cloud storage was pretty useless since I already had iCloud plus with 2 TB, which is only $9.99 a month. On top of that, the back up process was extremely slow, and it sucked. Regardless, I stuck with this plan for around 2 years. But eventually I did get tired of always having to be careful with how much data I used because I did end up using around 100 GB in around a week and my account got checked. Despite nothing happening, I got tired and decided to switch to AT&T. I figured since it was only $70 it wouldn’t be that much more. But I was so desperate to switch to I didn’t even bother to do any research about AT&T’s plans, like I did with straight talk. When I switched the speeds were a lot faster since AT&T was post paid, but I didn’t really care since I had “unlimited data.” For the most part it was great, but then after around 3 months I noticed that my speeds were pretty slow. I did a bit of Research, and I found this channel that explained plans, and to my disappointment, it was the same deal with straight talk, even though the data was prioritized, i was kinda sad to find out that it was only 50 GB and then it slows down. So basically i was now paying more for less. I dug deeper into this channel because it explains plans every well, and then I found the video about visible. Without any hesitation, I cancelled my AT&T service and switched to visible. Visible actually does have truly unlimited data, but also to my surprise unlimited hotspot data. Despite there being a cap to the hotspot and 5G, Im glad to say that I been happy with visible. But what I like about them more is that it is only $40 a month. I got my parents and basically my entire family yo switch, because literally everyone was on a straight talk plan. Now I’m chillin only paying $5 a month with my whole family. Thank you Stetson. I haven't been able to add my watch since I get a Visible page error after clicking Add Device... so annoying, will likely have to switch elsewhere.

Can you add more than one watch using visible?

Is this still available, i have mint mobile and i have a Apple Watch in which i do need cellular. How do i do this without having version ridiculous high plans and get 5$ plan for watch. Should i swith to visible ?

If my phone has a plan with AT&T can I buy a prepaid Olán but with a different carrier and still have it with my phone number

thanks for sharing this! it is much more user-friendly than visible's instructions lol. as for the plan, i look forward to long walks and runs without my phone but with the knowledge that in an emergency, i can call for help or someone can reach me. and $5 a month isn't the big part, it's the increase in price to the cellular watch. that said, get your watch with an apple card before Aug 15, 2023 and you'll still get 24 months free financing. after that, you'll only get 12 months. happy watching!

Would I be able to activate an apple watch /plan. Even though I have a android phone? Would it activate & use the same number? I have an old iPhone 7 I could use to set up watch

Haven’t had very much luck with this actually. I am on eSIM, and currently it’s not working. I have a physical Sim Mint mobile, and an eSIM on Visible. The visible eSIM always seems to go dead after some time.

If I were to give the watch to my school going kid, then won't calls to my number show up on her phone? How do you deal with that? (I am surprised that watch wont have its own number). Also how do I call my daugher on her iphone while she is at school? Dial my own number from my phone? Also how would she call me from iwatch while she is at school? Dial my number on her Phone?

How do you get the $25 month visible rate? Also, I had an awful time trying to activate Apple Watch on spectrum. Apparently this is a real problem. When going into Apple Watch app and it requests spectrum login it errors with login info mismatch. Is there any trick to overcome that?

Just transferred my sim from T-Mobile to visible esim.. and it says on the watch app cellular: Your Visible account is not eligible to enable cellular on your Apple Watch. Contact Visible for more information.. their customer service never connected super frustrating now😅

I have my watch connected to TMobile $10 unlimited.... but I hardly use it so I bumped it down to $5 with limited data but can still call if I need to... I only ever had it because there was a promo with the line was free, but they kept messing out up and asked if they can send me a credit of 12 months of service...I was dumb and said yes... oh well

US Mobile is such a better service, talk about never getting service when you need get Visible if you enjoy never getting service lol..

Don’t waste your time, visible service doesn’t actually work with at least the Apple Watch SE2 version. In cellular setup I receive the message “The visible account on this iPhone cannot be used to add a cellular plan to “Watch name”. Speaking with 5 different visible care representatives, none could figure it out.

five bucks? im doing it. im in situations fairly often where i would rather not have my phone so that its safe at home.

So I just changed to visible and in activating watch attempt the visible login screen flashed then shows frown face with message something went wrong... any suggestions stetson

Just a heads up, people can see the phone number u called from.

The plan isn’t even worth it cause you can barely hear anything on the watch unless you have Bluetooth earbuds. So I don’t really think it’s necessary to even buy the lte version of an Apple Watch so basically you could just save that money you spent extra to buy an lte version.

why does usmobile not have support for iphone 13 for esim?

As far as I'm aware, the only way to use an Apple Watch with an Android device is by activating cellular on it. This theoretically makes that possible if you have an iPhone or iPad available to activate the plan.

Visible sucks. If you’re a data user who uses their connection for streaming music or video, this is not the service for you. Data speeds are at times unusable. Just stay away.
