I'm absolutely dying to see what Moon Knight ends up looking like, but this video essay is so well-done that if it doesn't resemble Mr Robot I'll feel cheated

I really disliked the fan film that dropped a couple years back. But I agree. Not having a mature rating for Moon Knight would be a disservice. I really wanted him to be a part of the Netflix universe because he fit that vibe so well, but ah well.

Well I'm here from 2022... And I have to say. Moon Knight was so painfully mediocre and more MCU drok. Ruining Mr. Knight into a goofball and focusing on the comedy of the alter of the rewritten Steven Grant as well as the near erasure of Jake Lockley and making him into some sort of boogeyman. The focus on the rarely touched upon the Egyptian Mythology of the character was a mistake and led to more bloated CGI battles and a less than stellar villain with generic goals. We barely know Marc, Steven is now this goofy tumblr made soft boy, and Jake as mentioned is now this psychotic killer. They made it unfaithful and painfully boring. Nothing is left to mystery or the mind bending ideas that the comics have. Just a six episode arc in which the good guy beats up bad guy. That's it.
