your video went from installation to mapping buttons in a game, my controller works but only in ps5 dashboard. Was there software you needed to update the controller? I know some vague instructions were included but its been very unhelpful

How have these held up for you? I like that the paddles extend down the grips a bit since i have smaller hands. Ive been looking for something similar to the fps strikepack for the ps4 controller, and this looks like it might be as close as it can get. Just wanted to get your input if you think its still worth it. Thanks!

So, how to you get it to turn on? Is it supposed to just turn on whenever the controller is on? mine doesn't seem to be doing that. Are you supposed to do something between putting it on the controller and actually using it? I'm currently charging it, but I don't know if that alone would do it. I tried going to the website it said to go to, but there aren't any actual tutorials on it, just forums with files I'm afraid to download and one forum that says there isn't a video.

Good video but for anyone watching you need to solder if you want to map L3/R3 or the touch pad. Drove me mad looking at all these trying to figure out if I needed to plug in the soldering iron or not.

just look to see if theire is a logo of UK CA on the back. If not then you have a BDM 010. The logo is only on the BDM020.

Theire is a quicker way to tell of you have a bdm 020 or bdm 010. On the back of the BDM 020 theire is a extra logo (UK Ca) that is not there on the BDM 020 controller. I just saw a video about that and checked 2 of my controller. I both looked at the triggers and at the logo. I have one of each.

I’ve bought 2 of these mod paddles for my 2 controllers. They work great and are easy to install. Provided you have a bdm30 or know how to Solder. Only problem I’ve had is both times I had to go out and purchase a replacement bdm-030 main FPS Flex cable from ExtremeRate to allow the back to work

@@SUPERSARDOit allows one button to perform an action multiple times, in a quick succession automatically. Rather than pushing the dedicated button. For example, playing an FPS game and taking a pistol that shoots with R2. Taking that R2 Button, map it to a back paddle on macro mode and being able to shoot super quick making that pistol essentially a automatic as long as the game itself doesn’t cap the shooting speed of that weapon

The eXtremeRate Rise4 Remap Kit is a great alternative to this! However, the buttons layout is a bit weird: 2 paddles and 2 back buttons which are not as easy to press as paddles. This kit has 4 paddles, great! But, I'm afraid it breaks because it's plastic...

I got the rise4 kit. It works fine but like you already said, they are weird. The location isn’t comfortable for me, even the paddles are a bit to short. I’m thinking about to get this backplate as replacement and hopefully get better located paddles. Hard to find in my area and if, they’re priced at around 70€ ..

This company lies about this product. The Amazon listing and even the box it comes in says that the is NO SOLDERING REQUIRED. This is the main reason i bought this one that and the button layout. Well they straight up LIED about the no soldering. Go watch their videos on installing this. Both videos covering all 3 versions of the controller say you have to solder. If you don't know how to or just don't want to solder then AVOID this product.
