Bought same with latest controller bdm 40 the back paddle bdm 30/40 is compatible listen carefully. Soldering is not required but without the soldering you won't be able to use the paddle without a cable also you won't have touch pad, L3 and R3 If you do the soldering with the 3 small red cables then you can use the paddle without cable, the soldering option provide power to the back paddle and you can use touch pad L3 and R3 on back paddle. Without soldering, you must at all time use cable to plug in paddle ( no touch pad, l3 and R3 on paddle) With soldering no cable required it's use the controller battery and you can you touch pad, l3 and r3 on paddle. Are the two wires, which were soldered to the bottom of the control, necessary to use the paddles without the cable? And the wire soldered in the touchpad region is used to use it on the paddles, is that it?
@@guguixff3688 yes soldering is required if you want to use paddle without cable. When you do the soldering the back paddle use the touchpad power to power in the back paddle
